Absolutely disappointed about Hostel facility and Canteen.
Placements: Nearly 90% of students from our college get placed. The lowest package offered is about 10000-15000 from the airlines and MROs like IndiGo, Air India, GMR, etc. At starting you will enter into an airlines or MROs as a trainee technician after clearing all the modules and appeared for type training and get qualified you will become an A.M.E.
Infrastructure: Hostel facility and food in canteen are very poor. No sports activities, No Wi-Fi. Hangar, labs and library are neat and good. Since the college is located in a village area the food available in the mess is not good. Hostel not maintained and fees for them are too expensive.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, no problem in teaching department. Semester exams are not much of worry but pass percentage is 75%. This course makes students to get basic knowledge not industry ready. Teaching staffs will guide you to get clear all the modules in a better way.
Other: If you have passion for Aviation industry and want to sacrifice other college enjoyment you can join here. Don't even think about enjoyment.

Absolutely satisfied because of college life.
Placements: My college offered placements for my senior batch mates in various airlines like SpiceJet, Air Asia, Indigo, Bluedart, Lufthansa, Air India, Go Air. The highest salary package offered is 2- 4 LPA. College management will help the students to get jobs in all leading companies.
Infrastructure: My college good has classrooms. The college has a library, ambulance facility and a vast playground. Every year my college management conducts games and event. We have a well-furnished laboratory. College canteen provides spicy food, and non-veg is not provided.
Faculty: The college has well-qualified teachers. All teachers are retired Airforce staff. They are having a good teaching and practical experience. Every year college takes us to like Indianoil aviation, Orient flight school at Mysore etc., for industrial visits.
Other: In my college, every year we celebrate Onam and Pongal festival. In my college, there is no campus crowd. Every year college conducts a free blood donation camp.

A very good college for learning and developing us.
Placements: More than fifteen companies and more industries are taking placements in Hindustan Institute of engineering technology every year. It's a very good college and excellent in placements section. It is a Very good training centre and a big atmosphere for learning. All guides in the college are very good in teaching subjects whatever it may be.
Infrastructure: It is located at the Oragadam, Walajabad main road, next to Padappai. A very excellent place which we cannot be able to find in Chennai city. It is a natural green atmosphere. A library, good atmospheric classrooms are provided by the college, but for mine, the canteen is not good. The canteen maintenance is not good.
Faculty: All the HIET staffs are well qualified and very knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is perfect. All department labs are there for the students to feel the industry atmosphere. Their teaching methods are good. All the staffs are friendly, knowledgeable, and helping mind.
Other: Celebrations take place for every festival in the college. The connectivity of the college is easier to reach, and its surrounded by trees.

Review of Hindustan Institute of Engineering Technology
Placements: My senior batch was the first batch started here. The placement team and most of our seniors got placement in the newly started companies and other hardware field companies. Some of them went for higher studies and a few guys joined and started a business in the hardware field. After that batch, the placement team worked hard and referred many of us for the off-campus interview. They didn't get the interview at our college because in our batch, there are only a few people who cleared all the papers.
Infrastructure: We have a very efficient library with an Internet facility. We have very large space to study at the library with AC and also at labs. But using the Internet without further permission is restricted. We play sports in the evening time every day and we also have some indoor games and we appreciate each participant in events. In the canteen, it was contracted by third parties and they also very friendly with us. If we want any special food, they will prepare that at the time or they will take time for preparing those varieties of food. The hostel is built within the campus. It is a newly built college. The only drawback is you have to travel long distance as it is situated at Padapai.
Faculty: Faculty members for every student are focusing on the students' career and improvement in all sectors like dress code and career-building programmes. The industrial visit will be in students' favour if they got the permission to visit the company with a bus facility and they maintain strict policies to prevent ragging inside the college premises. Every department's faculty member is eager to explain, willing to teach the concepts they know and clear your doubts. Even if they didn't know, they will search and teach you what they get.

Good place to learn and enhance skills for earning.
Placements: Actually for this course, many of the colleges won't provide placement facilities, as it depends on the airlines and aviation scenario taking place in aviation sector. But some of my seniors got placed in Air India, Air Works and Jet Airways.
Infrastructure: As per the facilities are concerned, there is no Wi-Fi, bank and ATM nearby because it is located somewhere around 1.5 kms from main road. As the canteen is developing slowly, simple food items is available but pizzas or burgers are not available. Library, it's awesome with many titles but it is not a digital library. This college has the best labs ever than many colleges I have ever been to. This college has many demonstrable Aircrafts. Dornier 228, Cessena 152, Robinson R22 Helicopter, etc. Hostel facilitation is little bit complicated because it is useful and healthy to stay in such a non-polluted village environment for studying such a hard and toughest course.
Faculty: The college has experienced faculty members. They not only teach the subject but also teaches manners, discipline, culture and modernisation. Teaching methods followed by them are digital, seminars, group discussions, and exams. They are not well qualified but are efficient instructors. Everyone has their own way and style to make each concept understandable.

Other: A good college with good placement. Excellent faculty and the crowd was good as well. Central location helps in attaining more candidates and the people are more interested in joining there. Lot more courses can be applied and courses taken on. More amount of infrastructure can be used to expand and increase the number of students in it. The college has other engineering colleges and a pilot training institute under it which help in catering to a number of people as well, thanks to the expansion on those lines.
