Not getting value for money. Not that great placements. Keep this as your backup option.
Placements: The number of placements were good. However I am only giving 4 stars since the quality of placements was not that great. The placements were not as advertised. Many people ended up getting extremely low paying jobs inspite of their intellectual level as well as practical knowledge.
Infrastructure: I am only rating 3 stars since materials available for study are not up to date considering the fact that this is a Computer Science Course. Unless we have good systems to work on we gain experience. The hostel rooms are average, however the food is not at all good. The preparation is un-hygienic.
Faculty: The faculty is friendly and well learned in their area of expertise. However they mostly converse in their native language being Tamil. Though a large portion of students are from Tamil Nadu, for those coming from other states, the language barrier prove to be a problem.
Other: I chose this course as I wanted to get into the line of cyber security and having a strong Computer Science background will be very helpful for my career. The only thing good about this college is the fact that there are fests and functions happening all through the year. Extra curricular activities are good. But other factors need to be improved.

Overall, it's a good college with a wide variety of courses.
Placements: About 10% of students were placed in the second-year BCA department. The salary package is around 5 LPA. Top recruiters were ZOHA and Hexaware Technologies. The top role offered was technical support engineer.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi is available in common areas and the lab. Computer labs have well-functioning HP desktops with the Windows operating system. Only a few classrooms have a projector or display screen. The library has a wide range of books which can be issued. There is a basketball as well as a tennis court.
Faculty: The majority of the teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. The only drawback is that they use Tamil while teaching because most of the students are comfortable with it. The syllabus is relevant. Semester exams are of medium difficulty level with a minimum passing percentage of 40%.
Other: I chose BCA with Google as my elective subject. It was something new introduced to students and taught by a Google Certified Deployment Specialist. HICAS is also famous for celebrity appearances. There are many sports events and extracurricular activities. There are many different clubs and also NCC/NSS.

I had excellent experience and also studies.
Placements: 80% of students are placed in campus interviews. The top role offered is HR manager. The top recruiting companies are Infosys, Cognizant, TCS etc. The highest package offered is 25,000, and the lowest package offered is 12,000. 90% of students got internships from our course in CTS and HCL.
Infrastructure: Labs have internet connection. Smart classrooms and a digital library are available. Good quality food is available in the hostel. Sports and canteen facilities are available. The best infrastructure is available in the college. Hospital facilities are nearby.
Faculty: The teaching quality is excellent. The teachers are very helpful to students with their studies and career development. Practical demonstration is very useful for students to score good marks in theory exams. The teachers are very kind.
Other: Programming languages are the best in our course. Events are often held here.

The worst things in my college are hostel, syllabus, few teachers behavior and their attitude
Placements: 1. Anyone can get the job, percentage doesn't matter. 2. Max 20 thousand and min 5 thousand salary was offered. 3. Wipro is the top recruiter. 4. Software Developer, quality assurance roles were offered. 5. The highest salary 20 thousand, the lowest 5 thousand and average 13 thousand -14 thousand was offered to our course. 6. No internship was offered. Placement training was given.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was good. They are giving their best to keep the environment of college clean. Here, they conduct many cultural events and sports competition. Quality at the hostel was bad, no proper maintenance, No hygienic food. No medical facilities nearby.
Faculty: Only few teachers have knowledge on everything. Quality of teaching was bad, no proper guidance. Few teachers are really helpful to the students for their career growth. Too old syllabus. With this, students can't approach the industries easily.
Other: 1. I completed BCA it's totally related to the technical field. With this course you can approach IT industries easily. 2. Syllabus needs some changes. 3. College symposium, sports competition, department events are organised.

I am satisfied with the infrastructure and facilities but need to update a placement trainee.
Placements: About 10% of students got placed in the interviews from our course. The highest salary offered is Rs. 21,000 per month. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, IBM, TCS visited the campus. Some of them has offered a role as a trainee. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.3 LPA. I am also doing my internship with Swasam.
Infrastructure: Facilities are excellent, and the infrastructure is well. Many labs are available, and almost 12 labs and more 2k PC are there, and classrooms are good and with smart technologies. Mess food is super in our college. There are 6 food courts, and some street snacks will be available and night time. The sports department is doing their best and adding some of the trainees for each game, and vehicle park should be developed that is my wish.
Faculty: Teachers are well graduated, but they need to improve. Some soft skills they try to teach with the real-time examples. Quality of teaching is more than average because some teachers teaching style is good, but some of them do not teach well to listen to their topics. More than 50% course curriculum is relevant, but it never makes the student help to enter into industries.
Other: I have chosen this course with my interest, and after the 1st semester, I have loved the subjects, and I got interested in coding, and then the facilities approach in good ways. My wish is college should provide 2 to 3 workshop by that we can choose our designation. The campus crowd is good. The main fest named Hilaricas is organised and in that some celebrities visit the college and it will full of funds and jolly.
