Pros and cons of HICET, Coimbatore.

Placements: The placement facilities are good. The companies visiting the campus are less. Even the companies taking the students are also low compared to the last year survey. The companies are expecting more from the students. The placement cell in our college is just updating themselves soon. The placements in our college will be better.

The college has a satisfactory infrastructure and technical facilities.

Placements: The placements here depends upon your hard work alone. There will be everything you need to get placed in a company, all you need to do is make use of the opportunities. Since this is an autonomous college, a little bit of hard work and a pinch of smart work will get you a job in a good company.

There is only enjoyment, but no studies.

Placements: There are no placements. The training for placements is really worst. There are no companies which conduct mass recruitments. Their only aim is to earn money from the students. Not only here, but also total Tamil Nadu is lagging in education. Everything is worst because of politicians.

It is an average college.

Placements: The placements offered were not at all good. The job is only arranged for the circuitry departments. Rest all have to find the off-campus drive. From my branch, the campus drive taken were fewer. We have tried a lot to find the basic jobs. Still, we are existing reason is the placement cell.

It is a good college in the circle, With a good education and obedience.

Placements: The college has quite good IT jobs, and majorly IT companies are recruiting the students and also the non-related companies come for the recruitment. But, the good thing is that they are all getting placed in the top IT and other companies for at least Rs. 2 lakh per annum.

Satisfied with the faculty and infrastructure. The placement cell should improve.

Placements: Mostly IT service based companies arrive for placement. Lot of openings being provided for CSE, ECE, and IT students. The highest salary is 5.5 lakhs per annum, and the average is 2.5 lakhs per annum. CTS, NVTL, ELGI(mech core company), Amazon, Odessa, Placement Seasons are some of the companies that visit our campus for recruitment. A college for good engineers with a good infrastructure and good opportunities

Placements: The placement was nice and many core companies are included in hiring our students. All the training sessions to attend the placement interview are provided in a good way. So many are placed in good companies. In order to attend IT company placements, programming classes are provided for non-IT core departments.

Our college is one of the top colleges in Coimbatore which is certified from AICTE (A grade)

Placements: It is awesome and there are about 120 companies coming to the college. The companies are taking almost 300 students a year. The companies coming are Payoda, CTS, Bosch, KGISL, Infosys, HCL, Google, etc. They offer us a salary from at least 1 lac to 3 lacs per anum for freshers. The college gives us placement training also. The companies come during the seventh semester of our course and they take the student who doesn't have any arrear. They can have the maximum of 2 arrears in their history of ...

Awesome faculty with great infrastructure and good placements.

Placements: The students get good placements opportunities in this college. Compared to the previous batch, placement records of our batch are good. MNC companies like CTS will recruit more students, but now I don't think CTS is recruiting a bulk number of students. Not just only CTS, all the MNCs are not interested in bulk recruitment these days. One or two companies will come with a salary which will recruit a couple of people. The highest salary offered is 5 lpa. Students have to put a lot of effort to g...

Really good infrastructure

Placements: In 2015, placement drives started. About 30% of the eligible students got placed in MNCs. If you are looking for core placement, then it's not a right choice to choose Hindusthan. One good thing about Hindusthan is even after we complete the course they used to notify about the placement drive through the Facebook page. *Offered salary: Lowest salary- Rs. 12000 per month and the highest salary- Rs. 35000 per month *Companies: Majorly Vuram technologies, Prodapt solutions, Cognizant, L&T, Infovi...

Absolutely satisfied with the campus and really good infrastructure

Placements: It is good. Our college is giving placement classes for us. I think that is good for our future. Many construction and other famous companies are in our college for placement. Our principal is a good person. He is giving us all the support. My college is the best placement college in Tamil Nadu. Many companies are here for us. In every week, we get two days of placement classes which are very helpful for students.

HICET (Heaven of engineering).

Placements: It is having more placement skills and training for all the students through the whole year and has tied up with some of the top IT companies. More students got placements in the IT industry. Some high salary packages were offered by product companies. Other departments like ECE, EEE, mechanical, civil and aeronautical are not having core industry visits on the campus, They have only off-campus visits.

Superb environment to study with a fresh mindset.

Placements: The placements have been good for computer based students. But for other departments, placement is below par. Lots of IT and BPO companies come for recruitment. As far as my experience is concerned, I don't find any core companies coming for recruitments, especially for civil/ mech/ aero students.
