I am satisfied with our college and biotechnology course.
Placements: Some students got placed in NEERI, i.e., National Environmental Engineering Research Institute. None of the companies offered any jobs. Our college only provided internships. None of the students got jobs here. This college is only for degree holders.
Infrastructure: Facilities of our college for our biotechnology course are awesome. There are many facilities like an awesome library, teachers and many labs with lots of instruments. The quality of food is not that good in our college, but Tarri Poha is good.
Faculty: Teachers of our biotechnology course are awesome. Every subject has a specific teacher. Sunita ma'am teaches us microbiology, Ketki ma'am teaches us biochemistry, and Rajni ma'am teaches us immunology. The curriculum of our college is good.

Overall, faculty members are excellent.
Placements: Internships start in the second year, and the college collaborates with different institutes for it. Deserving students get excellent placements. Because of the practical experience in the college, more knowledge is gained from the university.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is different for different courses. Classrooms are being renovated. The canteen isn't that good, but it is hygienic. The college provides an NSS club in which activities are conducted on a regular basis. There is also a sports club. The biotechnology department has labs that are well-equipped with instruments.
Faculty: Biotechnology faculty members are amazing. In the first year, the biotechnology department is handled by 3 professional teachers who are PhD holders in the course.

I am satisfied with faculty members and placement, but I didn't attend placements.
Placements: Top roles offered in our course are related to biotechnology and its application. Roles offered are related to plant tissue culture, microbial culture and separation of microbial culture from other cultures. They teach every student enough to handle the role.
Infrastructure: The hostel is of good quality and has lots of facilities. Food served is also of adequate quality. Facilities in the hostel are reading room, sports, canteen and various other facilities which makes college worth joining. Quality of food available in the mess is also good.
Faculty: Students are trained in every aspect possible by the faculty members and institute staff members so that they can be industry-ready. Students are also encouraged to participate in competitions so that they can improve their knowledge about the industry.

Review of Hislop College.
Placements: There are no placements for biotechnology students, and salary package was not offered for biotechnology course. There are also no internships for B.Sc Biotechnology students. Placements are available only for B.Sc students in computer science students. Companies like Wipro visit here only for computer science students.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided in our department are well and good. The infrastructure of our college is also good, and the Wi-Fi facility is available on the campus. Labs are well established, but the canteen is not very good. The quality of the food served here is good and also pocket-friendly. There no medical facilities, but sports and games facilities are available. The campus is lush green.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful, well qualified and also knowledgeable. But their teaching quality is not much good. Students are not ready for the industry. There are no curriculum activities for biotechnology students.

It is the best place for biotechnology as it provides really good facilities for research purposes.
Placements: Generally, jobs offered for this course are lab technician, research assistant, in pathology, or in various pharmacological companies in R&D departments. Many students from our batch got internships in top reputed institutions. The average salary package offered in this course is 1.5 LPA, but students prefer to do M.Sc in this same course.
Infrastructure: Facilities available for this course in biotechnology department is way better than any other institutes in Nagpur. Our college provides the freedom to explore new research ideas in this field. The quality of the food available in our canteen is pretty good, and all kind of things are available in it.
Faculty: Faculty members in the biotechnology department are the best, and encourage us for various new research ideas. They are very helpful and guide the students for their future plans regarding the research as well as for jobs in industries. They give the best advice regarding competitive exams and internships.

Hello Shivangi, Admissions to 12th are not controlled by state but eligibility is decided by the university. For B.Sc in biotechnology, bio is desirable but not mandatory in 12th.
