If you are from Delhi & there is no alternate choice available you can go for it.

Placements: There are no placements (campus) offered from this college for the mechanical branch, but the placements were offered to CS & ECE branch. Wipro, Infosys, TCS, etc. are the few companies which use to visit the campus. The same thing is with the internship. There is a placement cell but only for formalities. So the job scope is almost negligible.

The village college HMRITM.

Placements: The college is the lower rank college of Indraprastha University and provides placements. The placement record is not good because of so fewer chances are provided by the director. This year only 7-15 students selected for placement by the college.

I am absolutely dissatisfied, college does have a ground but sports are not allowed.

Placements: The college promises for good placement and a lot of companies also come through. It also trains you for the placement drives from the initial year. As I am in the second year, I don't know much about the placements, but as far as I have heard, it would be better to go for off-campus placement.

HMR Institute of Technology and Management is the worst engineering college.

Placements: We have the worst placement than any other college. Even a small private engineering college offers much better placements. They develop the fake news that the number of students gets placed every year. The computer science is the branch where most of the students get placed which is around 4-5 every year, but they lie by saying that the 178 students are placed instead of 4-5. Total students in any branch of a year are 180. The condition of placement in other branches is approximately zero. Even...

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty, bad placement records and poor infrastructure.

Placements: The placements opportunities are good only for the students of CSE and IT branches, They are not good for the mechanical branch, GATE is the only hope for them. Infosys and TCS are the mass recruiting companies that come to the college and recruit the students from branches like computer science and information technology. There is no hope for the electrical and mechanical branches.

Worst college. Never go for it.

Placements: Placements are not so good here as only call centres come for the campus placement. HMR has the worst placements and many of the companies have blacklisted HMR (Oracle, Infosys etc) and never go for such a college. The placement cell shows fake results on the notice board that 50% were placed but the reality is totally different. The director and others are only in hunger of money and do business in the college like providing VAP, summer training etc. They just only want money or nothing they do...

A place to just obtain engineering degree if you got tired of not getting admission at others.

Placements: Placement season starts in the month of Feb-March. Infosys, TCS are the best available companies that one can expect. The maximum package of last year was around 8 lakhs, ripped from CSE branch. The average package is around 2.5 to 3 lakh per annum. Core branch placements for electrical, electronics & mechanical are very few. Overall, the placement is 60%. Overall not that good but also not bad.

Quite maintained, highly qualified faculty. Good infrastructure but poor location.

Placements: Placements in our mechanical section were horrible! Only 1-2 students got placed from MAE section from on campus placements. For placements, you have to go for drives and other colleges begging and giving tests. Most of the companies were BPO related and all companies wanted CSE or ECE branch students.

Why HMRITM should not be your first choice?

Placements: There are no on-campus placements for any stream. The admin dept. conducts Amcat tests so that the students get placed by availing off-campus opportunities. The faculty members have no professional skills. They are unaware of industrial ongoings. Mechanical department students have F1 car initiative where they represent the college overseas, but again it is funded by the participants only. It is more like a primary school at strictness level.

Absolutely dissatisfied with faculty members and management.

Placements: The college had nice placement records only in the year 2015 but in the year 2016, around 60-70 placements occurred and now it's getting worse. So, if you want a sure shot at placements, it's one of the black holes. Even Infosys doesn't visit anymore so you can guess yourself.

This is not a nice college, but it is associated with the IP University, which has a good name. The college infrastructure is very poor. The college faculty is nice. The college placement is also not good. Only, 1-2 companies come here for placements. But, I took admission in this college, as I got my desirable course here i.e. engineering with computer science. I want to become a software engineer.

By distance: Very far, you will waste 4 hours every day, By infrastructure: Well classrooms are classy, but that's the only plus point of the building, otherwise it is surrounded by farms and nothing else. Activities other than studies : well if you are doing something in school then you can do by starting yourself that thing in the college, otherwise NONE. Placement: no core placement but yes for CS&IT Faculty: below average to excellent. Depends what your class gets. Knowledge of teacher d...

College is located in a village which is not safe. Infrastructure is okay. Some faculties are good but most of them are not up to the mark. Cafeteria is not so good. College provides transportation and covers most of the parts in Delhi. Sports activities are not so much as a sportsperson would expect. Focus of the college is mainly on attaining marks and does not develop aptitude capabilities of the student which is a major factor for selection during placement drives. Only one company comes for...

It was Good College. But placement was not that good. But infrastructure was nice. Faculty was also average. And location of college is also a challenge. I joined this college because it is under GGSIPU so it has name. And it is in Delhi. So better than various college under MDU.

Seriously, there’s nothing to write about it. This college is of no mark... In any perspective. A big zero in studies and placements. Don't even dare to ask! Classes are big, good facilities in labs but they are not meant for students use just because some things are best when showcased. It’s a college with large building & numerous useless laboratories in large number without any campus. Here you should only come when you are left with no options to other colleges and just want a piece of paper...

Nothing worth is mentioning here . no sports n extra curricular activities. Awful location. Management is pathetic. Teachers are nice but not that qualified but they are supportive. Canteen is worth not mentioning. Overall it is not a college what you will be wanting. Not recommended.

B.Tech From GGSIPU is not advisable

Placements: Percentage of students getting placement from our college is very less. Although students can apply for off campus placement or pool placement. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, etc. Offer an average package for the students and regarding internships our college itself provides in campus internships.

Indeed dissatisfied because of infrastructure, faculty, environment.

Placements: 30-40% of students have been placed from the batch prior to me. The lowest salary can got to 3 Lacs per annum and the highest can go to 8/9 but off campus. Main recruiter is infosys and TCS. But many other companies like decathlon also participate. So it all depends in student's caliber for the selection process.

Don't take admission in hmritm.

Placements: Not many companies like to come to this college first because of the location of the college and second because of the low skill level of the students. Only a few people get placed via college. Mostly students try to take placements via off campus.

Clearly not satisfied because of the placements, bad Infrastructure and location.

Placements: Honestly, placements are awful in this college. Only the best of students get placed direct from the campus, although their chances are also very minute. Mostly IT companies visit the campus and they only selected 8-10 students last time around. You'll have to fight for yourself to get placed because there's a little chance that college gonna help you.
