Best government run college to complete B.Sc. on low budget.

Placements: There is no placement for B.Sc. Physics Honours. It's true that you can do private tuition or get placed in an EdTech company, but that will be solely your fault. You can go for a master's or at IITs through the IIT JAM exam that is conducted once a year.

Infrastructure: This college is a state-owned government college. Practical equipments are fairly available, but not all of it. The hostel facility is available for boys only. For girls, PG is available near the college campus. There are two hostels, one for Hindu boys and the other for Muslim boys.

Faculty: The course curriculum is very good, I would say, because it matches most of the competitive exams for Masters like IIT JAM, JEST, TIFR, CUET, etc. Teachers are very frank with the students. This college follows Burdwan University's CBCS exam pattern. Semester exams are not that hard.

Other: You can get all types of scholarships that you are eligible for. If you are opting for science subjects, this is one of the finest colleges to complete your B.Sc. on a low budget. Infrastructure should be improved a bit.

Review of Hooghly Mohsin College.

Placements: There are no placements in our college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average in our college. Computer laboratory is also very good. Wi-Fi Facility is also available. We can also use a departmental library in this college. Many indoor games like table tennis, carrom, chess, etc., are available. Central library is also available for students.

Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. Our course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. The pass percentage is 90%. We can give many course-related exams like IIT, JAM, NET, and GATE, and we can also try for many fellowships after graduation. Many teachers give us suggestions to do Ph.D. in countries like Japan and Germany.

I am satisfied with the college because of low fees, great teachers, and great environment.

Placements: A total of 15-20 students were there in my course. This is a B.Sc degree. There are no such placement opportunities. This is not a professional degree college. There are many departments like law, arts, science, etc. The campus is great. This course offered us deep level of Physics to understand the nature.

Infrastructure: Almost all the facilities are available in this college. We had high-quality labs, computer labs, Wi-Fi, a great library, and great professors. The classrooms are neat and clean. Hostel facilities are also great. The quality of food is decent. Sports and games are always encouraged here.

Faculty: Almost all the teachers in our college are knowledgeable. They are highly qualified and very helpful. This curriculum is very relevant. Semester exams are semi difficult as the syllabus is never 100% finished. In my course, about 100% of students passed the examinations.

Other: I chose Physics because I like doing it. Several practical instruments should be available. The fee is very low.

It has good value for money for B.Sc. Physics.

Placements: As it is a general degree college, placements don't occur here.

Infrastructure: Different types of hostel, mess, and PGs are available around campus. The cost of living in the college hostel is very low. But to be noted that the maintenance of these hostels is improper but still, seeing the cost of living, it's manageable. Chemistry and physics labs facilities are very good and you will barely get any lab instrument missing.

Faculty: The principal of our college is not friendly. But if you talk about Physics/ Chemistry faculty members, they are helpful. All the teachers care for students. You will get 100% support from their side.
