Decent college with the decent placements.

Placements: This college is known for the marketing stream, many companies come, but the packages are around 3-6 LPA. Very few companies with high packages come for recruitment. For people in finance, there are limited options here, most of them would be either placed in banks as RM or as the wealth manager, all ultimately leads to sales profile. The students are allowed to get into companies of their choice for the internship, but companies do visit in the campus for the internship. However, very few compa...

An average college with average placements.

Placements: The placements were not that good for our senior batch as well as for us. The companies are not showing interest to come for the recruitment because of the past performance. The placement cell of the college was not bothered to call the good companies with some potential profiles. For the marketing stream, the placements are average. For the finance stream, they are very poor.

An average B-school with bad infrastructure.

Placements: Placements are not so good. Around 70% were placed this year. 9 LPA being the highest package. 3 LPA being the lowest. About 98% of students got internships. 12000 rupees being the highest. No stipend being the lowest. The majority of the marketing students get placed. Very few companies visit for finance and HR.

Somewhat satisfied because of the placements.

Placements: About 90% of the students got placed with the highest package of 14 LPA. It was an international placement. The average package offered is 6 LPA. Companies like Amazon and Delloite, Satguru travels visit the campus. However, in finance specialization the placement level is low. Still, some of the students are not placed. Around 90% of the students got the internship through college.

The college is good, if you are unable to secure a better call. Till my batch the tuition fees was manageable, with moderately good ROI compared to most business schools in Pune. Some of the faculty members are kickass, while some are dumb doughs. IBS Pune is known to most people aware of business schools in Pune, however can’t say so about its reputation. Batch strength is humongous, which makes it a challenge during placements. Quality of students are well below average. Some of the peopl...

Good Curriculum, excellent faculty and an average Infrastructure. It was located in Aundh but now the campus has been moved to Magarpatta. It is a much better campus than Aundh. Some very good and senior faculty members also left recently. Crowd is very good and I don’t know much about their hostels in the new campus.

I suggest students choose this college if they can work hard.

Placements: Placements in IBS Pune are average as the salary package starts from around 7 LPA to 8 LPA and ends with 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Different sectors are covered through placement as many companies visit our college to offer placements for marketing, finance, HR and operations-based students.
