IIM Amritsar admission criteria for MBA batch of 2025-27 has been announced. The minimum CAT cut off required to be eligible to participate in the admission process of full time MBA programme is 90 percentile (General category). The weightage allotted to PI is 70.
IIM Amritsar will begin the application process for MBA admission in January 2025 after the release of CAT 2024 result. The shortlisting of candidates for PI round will be based on CAT 2024 score. Candidates will be required to fill the online application form available at the institute website to participate in the IIM Amritsar PI round.

Candidates selected for the PI round will be informed through email. They will be required to participate in the PI round on a scheduled date. The date and venue of PI will be shared in the same email.

IIM Amritsar Admission Criteria 2025: Final Selection
Post the PI round, final selection will be done among students who will qualify the round. Pre-PI scores and post-PI scores (with appropriate weightages) will be used cumulatively in the final phase to select the candidates for admission. The final scores for admission will be calculated on the basis of following components.

IIM Amritsar Selection & Admission Criteria 2025: Important Points
- The work experience will carry a weight of 10 per cent. The length of the experience considered will be till April 30 of that year. Work experience of less than sox months is not valid for this score.
- The final selection list will be prepared by the end of May 2025, after which offer of admission will be made to selected student
- Selected candidates will be required to accept the offer of admission by sending a duly filled offer acceptance form with INR 50,000 as offer acceptance fees (refundable)
- A limited number of candidates will be kept in the waiting list. Offers to the candidates in the waiting list will depend upon the number of candidates not accepting the offers from the initial list.
