Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) - Batch of 2023
2.8

Visiting faculty is appreciative. No placements so dissatisfied. Infrastructure is okay.
Placements: No placements given from the institution. For internships we have to search by our own. The lowest salary offered is 5000 and the highest can be more than 50,000. Top recruiting companies are Reflik, Kunsh technologies, Noon Dalton, Spectraforce Technologies. Senior architect or a government job as a town planner are roles offered.
Infrastructure: 1. We have Wi-Fi, labs studios and lecture rooms, staff rooms, adequate wash rooms, canteen and a exhibition hall. 2. Quality of hostel is average, no food or as such mess is available, we have to find it on our own. Adequate washrooms and bathrooms with sufficient water supply. The hostel is cleaned twice a day.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. There are many faculty members. There are many visiting faculty as well. The visiting faculty members are much better than the permenant faculty in the college itself. The course is not curriculum relevant. We don't properly study from books. We can take notes from many books but not to particular.
Other: This course is a lot interesting than it seems to be. It has a lot of hard work. You have to work for nights and stay awake and work. But it is fun. We don't only learn about buildings and there making but lot more than that. About life and world how it was made maybe. We can improve the course by not allowing to much work load and making it simpler. No extracurriculars.

Good infrastructure but less scope.
Placements: No placements as such in this course. In fact, life after graduation is uncertain. Teachers help with internships during the 8th semester of this course. Apart from that after graduation, most continue with a full time job in their internship company.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good. Well-equipped library and computer lab. The campus is big and canteen is good. Since it is attached to the management course students, there are facilities that are shared by both courses students, like the CCD express. Stationery shop is provided inside the campus building. Wi-Fi is good.
Faculty: Teachers are quite experienced and helpful in this course. They are approachable and are always willing to help you out even beyond college hours. Lectures are quite informative. Focus is towards knowing the technical details in architecture and that helps in understanding the industry. Various workshops and site visits are part of the curriculum.
Other: Every year there is a site visit outside the city for a few weeks to aid in the architectural design process. Avartan is the name of the annual college fest and it is a combined effort of students of all batches and teachers. There is a culture of staying nights in college, make the college campus a 24/7 learning facility.

Really good learning experience.
Placements: The placements provided for my senior's batches were pretty good. Almost students very placed. Depending on students academical graph they were offered positions. Many well known architectural firms visit the campus. But the college makes sure that every student is placed.
Infrastructure: Good classroom facilities, medical facilities. Canteen food is healthy and good to taste. There is also a well-facilitated girls and boys common room and also a game room. The hostel is a little far from the college and the hostel doesn't provide food, the students have to make their own arrangement for food.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and also very approachable. The college has more focus on practical learning rather than theoretical knowledge. There are 6 teachers in all one teacher behind 10 groups of students. The faculty arranges frequent industrial visits for more experienced learning.
Other: Active participation bin cultural events and inter college competitions. There is a very good bond among the Juniors and seniors. The crowd is pretty good.
