Absolutely satisfied.
Placements: In my college, 80 percent of students get placement. The highest package in my college is 18 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.5 LPA. Mahindra, TVS Group, Vignesh Polymers, etc. In my college, 90 percent got internships in my course.
Infrastructure: Good facilities in my college. Classrooms are very neat and beautiful, and labs are maintained properly. There are so many books in the library, and Wi-Fi has faster speeds. There are good hostel facilities with quality food in the college. The canteen has snacks and cold drinks.
Faculty: Helpful to my career and my life. Lecturers are teaching well and prepared. For exam time, get coaching for the exam. The course curriculum is relevant to experience for preparing for industry to make skills and technical work to grow up for the job. It is easy to pass the semester exam for preparation for the exam, and 70 percent got a passing percentage.
Other: I am studying Mechanical Engineering in an autonomous college. Previously, I studied for a diploma, so I chose this course. I feel better studying this course. In my college, they celebrate events, cultural, extracurricular activities, etc.

B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering - Batch of 2020
4.8

Best college for those who want to be placed in a software company.
Placements: Based on the placement in my college, the highest package is 4 Lacs per annum and the lowest is 2 Lacs per annum. The main goal of my college is to get placed, so in this college, recruiting companies like IT software, for example, Wipro, TCS, etc. For an internship, you must have an above-80 percentage.
Infrastructure: The library has a lot of computers, so students can use any of them. Wi-Fi is also available in every subject; there should be a lab, and maintenance is perfect. In hostels, food is okay, room cleaning is perfect, it has medical facilities where you can have any issues, and they conduct games for fun.
Faculty: I think teachers are intelligent in this college because they have experienced faculty to teach students so easily they understand about the subject. A good student who maintains the mark can get placed, and the pass percentage is 50 percent. If you have 100 marks, you must get 50 to get passed.
Other: I like coding, so I chose this course. The best thing is I got placed in IT; they provide a scholarship for each student; they must fill out the scholarship form and get it.

B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2024

Not satisfied with placements but with a good infrastructure and memories and knowledge.
Placements: 45% of the students were placed in my batch. I started my B.E. (ECE Department) in 2020 and completed it in 2024. The highest CTC bagged is 7.3 LPA by TCS-selected candidates in the Ninja role. The average CTC range is 3 LPA and the minimum is 1.7 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Aspire systems and Hexaware. More than 60% of the students are currently pursuing internships in their companies. The top roles of the selected students were software developer, automation engineer and SAP.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is constructed well and has a good ambience. The classrooms are spacious and provide lab facilities for practical experience over context. Our college has a big library block named Ramanujam Block. Hostels for men and women are located separately. Healthy playgrounds are there for playing football, volleyball and other games. The hostel has a canteen with food for the hostelers.
Faculty: The institute consists of experienced professionals with in-depth knowledge of their domain subjects. The curriculum is based on the subjects chosen with open electives chosen by students. It makes the students pursue other modern technologies like AI/ML/DS irrespective of their course . They have the advantage of studying extra content beyond their syllabus. The syllabus is updated every two years. The semester exams are easy as well, not so tough. If you can prepare well with the notes, you can score well. The pass percentage will be like more than 80-85%.
Other: I was in a hurry to take up engineering after completing my school. I don't know which course to choose. Then I chose ECE [electronics and communication engineering]. I chose this course because I can either go to core side jobs or IT. This course had given me major flexibility in choosing my career. The things to improve this course are updating the curriculum with industry-relevant examples and real-time implementations. Various events are conducted at IFET celebrations, like annual meets, sports day and other eventual occasions. The extracurricular activities include an innovation cell, sports and conducting mini-fun events.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) - Batch of 2025

My masters in business administration.
Placements: Our college never failed to show it's excellence in placement activities. The maximum number of students will be placed by 2024. Top companies like TCS, HCL, and Accenture hire students from our college every year. Our students got placed in various roles, such as software developer, product tester and so on.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of our college was superb. Our canteen is served with hygienic and tasty foods. And all the medical facilities available within our college. And there is a large library with the maximum number of books. And also, there are separate hostel facilities available for boys and girls.
Faculty: All our teachers were highly experienced and knowledgeable. They are more responsible in doing their work with more involvement. And they always preferred to take interactive practical sessions. And also, it's very easy to crack the semester examinations.

IFET Engineering College.
Placements: The placement records from our college are acceptable. We are asked to attend both the on-campus and off-campus placements. Companies like EY, R&N, and Accenture hire students from this college every year. There are a lot of internship opportunities provided by our college.
Infrastructure: It's one of the top engineering colleges in the Villupuram district. Our classrooms are well-maintained with spacious, air-ventilated rooms. There is a big, spacious library located within the campus, with all the resources for searching. And our teachers encourage us to participate in sports.
Faculty: Our lectures mostly prefer to take industrial-oriented practical sessions rather than PowerPoint presentations. It was very difficult to crack semester examinations, so we have to study harder to pass the examinations with higher grades. Our teachers were very helpful.

B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2023

Everything about my memorable college life.
Placements: The overall performance of placements was lesser than the previous year. According to 2023 placements record, 90% of the students got placed and in 2024, it was 86 percent. Also. they are actively providing internship opportunities to the students. TCS is one of the top recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was too good as it was located at the centre of the District. It was really a peaceful having a green environment which improved our mental health. They serve limited food for the students in need. The students are not allowed to go outside without permission.
Faculty: They mostly preferred to take practical sessions, hence the students get some practical experiences to get placed in good companies. They were very focused on their works, and care about the students too. This results in good academic records every year.
