Placements: College has a robust placement record, attracting a number of reputable companies across various companies like TCS, Wipro, Google, Texas Instruments, Vedanta, L&T Ltd, and some others. The highest placement package in 2024 was 45 LPA. The average salary package was 7.5 LPA.

Placements: About 60% of our college students are placed definitely in spite of any circumstances. Many startups like Markit Up and Blinkit hire our seniors in college. The highest salary package offered is 55 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. About less than 20% of students are getting internships on our campus, which is not at all a good thing. Software developed, data analytists and machine learning engineers are selected mainly for top packages on our campus .

Placements: In the previous year, the Mining Engineering department, with 21 students out of 27 securing jobs, achieved a placement of 78%. The highest package ranges from 20-25 LPA, with an average of 7-8 LPA. Students become eligible for placement from the 7th semester, with top companies like Tata Steel, Coal India, JSW, and Vedanta.

Placements: The maximum number of students are placed in our college, and the remaining students pursue their Master's. The highest package for the Mechanical Engineering department is 1 crore, which is an off-campus placement, and the average package is 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our college include Microsoft, Google, Tata, Ford, and many more companies that visit for placement drives. Many students also secure internships from the third year.

Placements: 63% of students from my department have been placed, while many others are pursuing higher studies. The highest package offered is 43 LPA, the lowest is 7.4 LPA, and the average package stands at 15.3 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Texas Instruments, Larsen & Toubro, PwC, Sedemac, TCS, ICICI Bank, and many others.

Placements: 90% of the batch was placed in different core, IT, and consulting firms. The highest package was 39 Lacs and the lowest was 3.5 Lacs, with an average of 8 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Texas Instruments, TSL, CESC, PWC, ABG, JSL, etc. This year, the placements were a bit low in terms of package compared to previous years. The company's roles varied from company to company, mainly in the roles of GET and design engineers.

Placements: The placements in AE & AM are too low, as many come here to do research. This year, 2 to 3 seniors got placed and their packages were about 30 to 40 LPA. So, for research in AE and AM, it is preferable; otherwise, not. Although, I don't have a proper idea as I am in my 1st year.

Placements: Placements in IIEST Shibpur are decent. There are both on-campus as well as off-campus placements. Reputed companies such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Texas Instruments visit our college for recruitment. The average package is around 7.5-8 lacs per annum, and the highest package touches 50+ lacs per annum. Generally more than 75% of students get placed.

Placements: Good percentage of students get placed. The lowest package 4 Lacs, the highest 59 Lacs. TI, TCS, Google, Microsoft some in college. There offers good package and good role. About all in 3rd year got internship because it is mandatory to do internship in 3rd year.

Placements: I am in Mechanical Engineering and more than 80% of students get placed every year in this course of B.Tech. The highest salary package was around 60 LPM and the lowest salary package was around 8 LPA. More than 70% of the students get internships.

Placements: In the department of Information Technology at IIEST Shibpur, the placement record for the year 2023 was 82.11 percent. The highest package was 51 LPA, offered by Microsoft. The average package was around 19 LPA. Some of the companies that recruited students from my department were Google, Microsoft, Texas Instruments, Accenture, and Deutsche Bank. Placements: One of the best Engineering colleges in West Bengal and one of the oldest in India for Engineering. The research opportunities are very good, but the placements are not that great! The top recruiting companies are PWC, TCS, as they take most of the students, but also in our time, companies like Google, Texas Instruments visited the campus. The highest package was 45 Lacs and the lowest was 3.3 Lacs.

Placements: After your 4th semester, you can apply for internship and after your 6th semester, you can be eligible for on- and off-campus placement. Companies like Accenture, IBM, Tata Steel, PWC , Wipro , Mahindra, and so on are visiting for placements and the total number of students placed the previous year is 67 out of 89 and many of the students who did not apply for placements go for higher study. As all students, I also dream of placements.

Placements: About 83 percent of students were placed in my course in 2024. The highest on-campus package was 39 LPA and the highest off-campus package was 83 LPA in my course. The average package for my course was 14 LPA. Most of the recruiting companies were TCS, Wipro, Microsoft, and Google. Most of the students in my course were offered roles as software programmers.

Placements: From my knowledge, 55 to 60 percent of the guys were recruited in our department. The highest package is around 15–17 LPA and the lowest is around 5–6 LPA. Our top recruiters for placement and internships are HAL, DRDO, ISRO and many others. About 80 to 90 percent of students got internships and got roles in companies like designers, scientists, engineer and so on.

Placements: 75+% of the students were placed in IT department. CS 90%+. Other branch range from 40 to 65%. Which is less than previous year, i.e., 95%+. The highest package was 84 LPA from Atlassian 1 student got it. Other than this, Microsoft, with 54 LPAs, hires around 7 students and Google with 50 LPAs, hires around 7 to 8 students from both CS and IT. Other than this Media. Placements: About 86 percent of students got placed here in this course. The highest package is 9 Lacs per year, the average package is 6 Lacs per year, and the lowest package is 3 Lacs per year. Top recruiting companies like Wipro, Accenture, and Mahindra visit here; many students got internships from HP companies. The top offered jobs for the students from this course are geologist, data engineer, etc.

Placements: In civil engineering, approximately 50% of students get placements. The average package in this course is 7-8 LPA. The top recruiting companies are PWC, ITD Cementation, and JSW in the civil engineering department. A lot of students get internships from the college.

Placements: Placements in our college are quite good. Last year, 64% of students were placed in Civil Engineering, which seems less, but usually, many students opt for government jobs such as UPSC CSE, Central Civil Services, State Civil Services, GATE, and higher studies. Internships are done by all of the students, including paid and unpaid internships. Companies for internships are Microsoft, PWC, Accenture, Tata Steel, Texas Instruments, Wells Fargo, and BNY Mellon.
