Placements: I am in Mechanical Engineering and more than 80% of students get placed every year in this course of B.Tech. The highest salary package was around 60 LPM and the lowest salary package was around 8 LPA. More than 70% of the students get internships.

Placements: Placement percentage is nearly 80%. Top recruiting companies are PWC, Saint-Gobain, Tata Steel, Maruti Suzuki, L&T, HSBC, Accenture, etc. Top roles include automobile, manufacturing, and consultancy. The highest salary package offered was 22 LPA and the average salary offered was 10 LPA. Nearly 80%-85% of students got internships.

Placements: About 83 percent of students were placed in my course in 2024. The highest on-campus package was 39 LPA and the highest off-campus package was 83 LPA in my course. The average package for my course was 14 LPA. Most of the recruiting companies were TCS, Wipro, Microsoft, and Google. Most of the students in my course were offered roles as software programmers.

Placements: Placements percentage in the Department of Mechanical Engineering was 70%-80% in the year 2024. Many companies, such as PWC, Mahindra, Caterpillar, etc., offer salary packages above 8 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 15 LPA-20 LPA. In other departments, like CS and IT placement rate is higher.

Placements: In the department of Information Technology at IIEST Shibpur, the placement record for the year 2023 was 82.11 percent. The highest package was 51 LPA, offered by Microsoft. The average package was around 19 LPA. Some of the companies that recruited students from my department were Google, Microsoft, Texas Instruments, Accenture, and Deutsche Bank. Placements: Approximately 90 percent of students got placed. The highest package recorded was 55lpa and average was about 14lpa. Microsoft, Google, TCS, PW, Atlassian were the top recruiters. And about 40percent student got internship in Altassian. Being a circuital branch most get opportunity to work as SWE.

Placements: One of the best Engineering colleges in West Bengal and one of the oldest in India for Engineering. The research opportunities are very good, but the placements are not that great! The top recruiting companies are PWC, TCS, as they take most of the students, but also in our time, companies like Google, Texas Instruments visited the campus. The highest package was 45 Lacs and the lowest was 3.3 Lacs.

Placements: 75 percent of students were placed in our college with the highest package of 13 lacs per annum and the lowest package of 2.3 lacs per annum. Top companies offered an internship. Few students got opportunity of internship. Top roles offered are geologist, data analyst, teaching job, etc.

Placements: After your 4th semester, you can apply for internship and after your 6th semester, you can be eligible for on- and off-campus placement. Companies like Accenture, IBM, Tata Steel, PWC , Wipro , Mahindra, and so on are visiting for placements and the total number of students placed the previous year is 67 out of 89 and many of the students who did not apply for placements go for higher study. As all students, I also dream of placements.

Placements: At IIEST, students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester, with top companies like Tata Steel, Coal India, JSW, and Vedanta. Job roles offered in operations, site management, and safety. In Mining Engineering, the highest packages range from 20-25 LPA, with an average of 7-8 LPA. The college has a placement rate of 100% for the last 4 years.

Placements: Placements are average and the total credit goes to the students because after such a bad hostel condition and poor Wi-Fi and internet facility, the students are succeeding. Most of the students try off campus placements which is good but if the administration functions properly the placements can rise many folds.

Placements: From my knowledge, 55 to 60 percent of the guys were recruited in our department. The highest package is around 15–17 LPA and the lowest is around 5–6 LPA. Our top recruiters for placement and internships are HAL, DRDO, ISRO and many others. About 80 to 90 percent of students got internships and got roles in companies like designers, scientists, engineer and so on.

Placements: 75+% of the students were placed in IT department. CS 90%+. Other branch range from 40 to 65%. Which is less than previous year, i.e., 95%+. The highest package was 84 LPA from Atlassian 1 student got it. Other than this, Microsoft, with 54 LPAs, hires around 7 students and Google with 50 LPAs, hires around 7 to 8 students from both CS and IT. Other than this Media.
