It provides decent placements every year but not much improvement. Faculty & curriculum are average.

Placements: Almost 70% of the students got placed in the CSE department, this year. The highest salary package offered was 53 LPA, and the average SALARY package offered was 16.6 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Infosys, Yugabyte, Nvidia, etc. The top roles offered by these companies were junior software developer, engineer, and other such roles.

No proper Campus due to temporary campus

Placements: The placement statics of 2024 is not good because only 25% students got placed due to temporary campus that we got but placement in 2023 is quite good. In few months we will shift to new campus so placement there will surely improve because we will have permanent campus.

Good coding culture and competitive culture, both in CP and DEV.

Placements: Currently, I am in second year Our batch is not ready for placements but our senior got an on-campus internship at Nvidia, another got an internship at a startup, and some got off-campus jobs at Google, Cisco, Microsoft, Flipkart, etc. Our college is only working because of the students here. The coding culture here is very good and competitive .

There is no permanent campus but it is said that IITP will shift to a permanent campus in future.

Placements: This year, because of the recession, there were only 25% of students who could get a job, but still, they were able to get a maximum of 80 lpa and an average of 17 lpa. Almost everyone got an internship, even some of the first- and second-year students managed to become interns at some startups.

Students are offered SDE and web development roles based on their skills and experience. The top recruitment companies are Yugabyte, Nvidia, Flipkart, etc.

Difficulties due to the temporary campus.

Placements: Last year, placements went considerably down due to the recession, but now things are improving slowly, but still, placements are not up to par. Companies are coming to interview the current 3rd-year students for internships, but the number of companies is not that high. Hopefully, the condition will improve in the next year. Last year, the highest package was 54 Lacs (Amazon off-campus); on-campus, the highest was 53 Lacs (Yugabute).

The college is going to shift to the main campus mostly by the end of 2024 or at the start of 2025.

Placements: Don't know a lot about it because I am in my 2nd year but from what I have heard from seniors is that the placement Statistics are a lie. They aren't exactly bad but the average is a lot less than the college claims. The average is around 11-12 Lacs per annum. The old placements were good because we had a good placement officer before but he left and the placement officer after him was not good but now we have a different placement coordinator.

Satisfaction hits instantly when you arrive here.

Placements: In the current year, only 25 percent students have been placed. A lot of mass recruiters are visiting our college offering a 3-4 LPA package. This may be due to world wide recession and lack of permanent campus but is certainly disappointing. We do have 88.3 LPA as the highest package this year but not everyone gets those.

Newly established central institute in Pune.

Placements: Our college started in 2016. So there is no placement until now because the 1st batch of college is still in the 2nd year right now. But since it is IIIT and the location is in Pune. The placement will be good. Our HOD is also helping to get internships in good companies or even in other good institutes like IIT etc.

The brief review of IIIT, Pune.

Placements: I can't comment about the placements, as the first batch will pass out in 2020. However, the college has the training and placement cell club comprising of the experienced faculty members. The college is located in Pune, so one must not worry about the placements and all, and being a reputed and branded national institute, it is likely to attract the huge companies.

I think shifting to a permanent campus will fix many problems which are faced.

Placements: Recently, a very low placement percentage was seen, around 25 percent. The highest package in ECE was 21 LPA, and the lowest was 5 LPA. The average was around 11 LPA. Top recruiters were TCS, Nomura, Texas Instruments, and Accenture. Mostly, 70 percent of students in the 4th year grabbed internships in companies like Microsoft, Google, Yugabyte, etc. To my knowledge, the top role included SDE.

If you can afford the fees or have an option of scholarship then its a good college overall.

Placements: Placement Cell is ok-ok. You have to be active on your own and do internships and projects. Course is industry relevent so no need to worry but still you, on your own will have to explore some topics in deep than taught in college and no need to take too much load and just focus on what field you want to go.
