Placements: IIM Indore, with the largest batch size across IIMs, has wrapped up the final placements for the class of 2017 with a 28% increase in Pre-Placement offers. The batch with a strength of 611, included 449 students of the Post-Graduate Programme (PGP), 100 students of the unique 5-year Integrated Program in Management (IPM) and 62 students of the PGP program at the Mumbai Campus of IIM Indore. Placements: The summer placements were good, especially the summer placements. Our campus saw, new recruiters coming and offering new roles. Finals however seemed to be affected by the demonetisation and regulatory uncertainty a bit. But we pulled through. All the streams, ranging from consultancy and Gen Man to operations and marketing.

Placements: The batch size of IIM Indore was 611 (including the PGP Mumbai students) for final placements, 2017 which is the largest as compared to any IIM. The placements went good with a highest domestic package of INR 37 lacs (bagged by 2 students) but they do not end within 4-5 days. Placements: 100% placements with more than 200 companies participating. All students got placed with an avg. package of 10-12 lpa. Roles were offered in marketing, HR, IT and finance. More than 100 students already had PPOs from respective companies. Big brands visited the campus and hired students.

Placements: Increasingly better trend over the last 4 years in terms of profile and compensation. 100% of students got internship from the college. The lowest can be as low as 6 LPA for a handful of jobs and the highest can be as much as 30 LPA, again a handful. Roles offered were of operations, sales and marketing, finance and consulting.

Placements: The placements for my batch and the senior batch were 100% (including the students who opted out of the process to become an entrepreneur, a positive trend I must say). A lot of students have already been awarded a PPO based on their performance during the summer internships, and a few others converted their PPIs even before the final placements started. Placements: Placements happen in three seasons i.e. PPOs, laterals and the final. There are a good number of opportunities for finance, IT and sales/marketing roles and companies around the world visit the campus for recruitment. The entire batch is placed way before the final exams and it is always a 100% placement.

The college has a good campus with all facilities and a highly qualified pool of faculty. Placements scenario is good with companies coming mostly from the field of finance and marketing. As such operations and HR takes the back seat during placements. IIM Indore is one of the best management institute in India. It is known for its beautiful campus in Indore. I studied during 2010-2012. We had best HR faculty and some great visiting faculty in Marketing. I also enjoyed my time playing Cricket and Football. We had lot of tournaments.
