IIM Kozhikode Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: Placements came only after the first term which is rigorous enough to make everyone to think of sleep as a dream only. Coming towards placements, the process is systematic, ensures the placements of all except those who opted out of the process. This year was phenomenal for summers as there were new recruiters in the consulting and companies like Amazon has taken double-digit students from the campus.

Placements: IIM Kozhikode has experienced an inspiring placement season this year setting up new milestones. It has observed a marked increase in terms of average salary and the number of offers been made. It completed the summer placements in a record timeline of 3.5 days in spite of increased batch strength. With the placements this year IIMK has officially become an MBB campus. The number of PPO's being offered this year has also gone up.

Placements: Summer Placements we good. Our placements got over in 3.5 days with 100% placements. Median salary was 2 lacs for 2 months. Accenture strategy, Deloitte, Amazon, Uber, Wipro were major recruiters. For sales and Marketing major giants such as ITC, HUL, AbInBev etc. Were major recruiters. Average stipend was around 1 lacs. Tech Giants such as Google, consultancy giants such as BCG, Mckinsey etc. Also recruited. Major roles included consultants, sale and marketing, project management, finance etc. ...

Placements: Placements were better for our batch compared to our senior batch for both summer and final placements. It was the first time in IIMK that consulting companies like Brain, BCG and McKensey came to recruit for our final placements. Overall it was the best till date and got over in 3-4 days.

Placements: The placements went very well. Not sure about the lowest salary package, but for seniors, the highest was around 40LPA and for summer placements it was 1.5 LPA. Many companies from different streams visited. Please look into our placements report for more detailed information.

Placements: Companies like Brain, McKenzie, Deloitte, etc., visited the college for our final placements. The average salary package offered was around 17 lacs per annum. The placement percentage was 100%. Roles of marketing research, relationship management, portfolio management, etc., were offered. For summer internships, similar companies visited the campus. The average stipend offered was around 1.4 lacs per month. Summer internship process was also completed within a week.

Placements: There is 100% placement in the college with median salary being 18.5 Lacs per annum. Placement period was completed in record 6 days. Many reputed companies like BCG, JP Morgon, Deloitte, ITC etc. Visits our campus for placements. Yes, the college does provide internship for the students in many know companies. It has one of the most transparent placement reports. The placement cell are very good at their job. IIM has very good return on investment that is why it is worth studying here.

Placements: If you are studying at IIM, almost 100% placements are never your concern, but choosing amongst the best is the concern. IIMK witnessed the highest ever mean (20.7 LPA) and median (18.5 LPA) salary packages in its history with the highest domestic salary package being 40.5 LPA. We also joined the elite club of MBB (McKinsey, BCG, Brain) this year with offers in double digits. Placements: Almost 100% of students get placed. The placement procedure is very quick, and a majority of the batch gets good offers. Placements are done in top consulting, finance, and marketing companies, and the average salary package offered is over 18 lacs per annum. The placement reports are also available online.

Placements: Placements for my batch and the senior batch were completed within the record time. Both summer and final placements saw participation from key recruiters of finance, FMCG, consulting and IT sector. Key roles offered were financial analyst, area sales manager, brand manager and consultant. Almost 90% of students got placed from the campus. The average salary package offered was upward of 15 LPA. The average stipend for students during summer internship was Rs. 35,000 per month.

Placements: I am a 1st-year student. So, I think this question is not applicable to me. Many companies visit the college, and it gives a feeling that placements will not be a problem. Placements: IIM Kozhikode is one of the oldest 6 Iims is having a very good placement record. Placements: The placements are overall good. Summer placements are of course better than the placements which are during the final exams because most of the companies do not come for the recruitment during the final exams. Big companies like BCG HUL, ITC, Deloitte visit the campus but recruit the students in very small numbers like 5 or 6 students. In this college, mostly 70% of the batch gets placed in reputed companies, and others have to settle for a little less like startup companies.

Placements: The placements are better than most of the top 15 MBA colleges. There is a good number of finance and marketing companies coming in the campus. Also, the lateral placements are something that does not happen in most colleges and many great roles are offered to experienced people.

Placements: For my senior batch, final placements were good. In a batch, size of 360 students, there were 100% placements with an average package of 17.04 lakhs per annum. Companies from all the sectors visited campus. Most of the companies were consultancies, marketing and banking. As IIM-K is known as a marketing campus, so most of the students are offered a role as a marketing manager. Consulting firms- BCG, EY, Accenture, etc. General management- TAS, Mahindra, Reliance, ICICI, etc. Finance- Goldman Sachs, JPMC, Axis, Citibank, etc. Marketing firms- HUL, ITC, Nestle, Loreal, Godrej, etc.

Placements: They were at par with any other IIM in the country. The highest salary was around 30 lakhs per annum, and the minimum salary was at 14 lakhs per annum for our senior batch. Placements: There is not a very good scope for campus and this because of the fact that more than 70% of students opt for PhD and major chunk goes to United States of America. Apart from America many students also goes to Europe and other major countries like Japan for their PhD. In India major universities where student opt for PhD are IISc Bangalore, Tifr Bombay, NCBs Bangalore. Internship is not mandatory for any particular year students can do any number of intern any where in the world.
