Placements: Out of 26 students only 14 students got placed by Placement cell, rest 5 got job after many difficulties through outside sources. 6 students are still struggling for getting a job after 5.5 months of course end. The highest Placement India- 20 LPA the highest Placement Outside- 28LPA the lowest placement - 10LPA Top Roles - Sr. Consultant by Cognizant & Accenture.
The campus facilities and exposure which it provides through its events are fabulous, the placements are only average. The fee structure at my time of joining was very high, which I feel is not worth the money as the ROI is lowered. The faculty is not up to the mark and even the college crowd is not so great. I will not recommend this college to others.

The course is a relatively new one but only a few colleges offer a course with a focus on China. Overall, we are not treated as the kids of flagship courses are. PGP seems to run the college and the administration says they are bound by what students says and not vice versa. Placements: Students have a great opportunity to apply for our degree at IIM Shillong. Approximately 60–75% of students are accepted into this college. In our college, the average package supplied was between 11 and 25 LPA. This college also offers vocational training to its students. For our course, the top employers at this college are Ford, HDFC Bank, Google, IBM, Accenture, and others. Program Executive, Project Manager, and other high-level positions are available.
Placements: Approximately 85% of students were placed in our college. Many MNCs, IBM, Deloitte, and Solar companies visited and offered the highest salary package of 35 LPA and the lowest salary package of 12 LPA. More than 15% of students got internships in other sectors.
Placements: At IIM Shillong, students get very good placement opportunities in our course. Around 50-55% of the students get placed at this college. The average package offered at our college was between 5-6 LPA. Students also get internships at this college. Top recruiters at this college are IBM, Accenture, Deloitte, Infosys, Wipro, Walmart, etc., for our course. Top roles offered are programme executive, project manager, HR, relationship manager, etc.
Placements: Placements were stellar here. From a batch of 197 students, almost 100% of the students got placed in various domains ranging from product management to investment banking to brand manager. Marquee companies like JP Morgan, ITC, Godrej, Microsoft, Google, PepsiCo, Nomura, etc., visited here for placements. Placements: The highest package of the batch 2020 was 40 LPA (domestic) and the average package was approximately 18 LPA. 100% students were placed in Finals as well as the Internships. The highest stipend for internships was 3 LPA for 2 months given by Aditya Birla Group. Most of the students were placed in Consulting and Marketing companies.
Placements: Around 100% of the students get placed, even if everyone is not offered a very good salary package. The top recruiting companies of our college are Goldman Sachs, Amazon, ITC, etc. The highest domestic salary package offered was 40 LPA, and the average salary package offered was approximately 18 LPA. Internships provided are 100%.
Placements: Placements in IIM-S are decent and close to 100%. All students of MBA batch (now IIM Shillong offers MBA degree rather than PGDM) get internships, mostly in marketing, followed by finance. However, this trend is reversed during final placements, where most of the offers are from consulting and finance, followed by sales & marketing. Placements: The college had 100% placement. The highest stipend for the batch 2020 was 40 LPA domestically and average was 18.76 LPA. The prominent recruiters were ABinBev, FIITJEE, GS etc. The maximum roles were offered in Strategy and Consulting which comprised of 29%. Next was Sales and Marketing. The Internship also had 100% placement with the highest stipend as 3L for two months.
Placements: The placements in our college are good. We have an amazing committee. The committee works very hard for the campus placements. They always show the best rigour and came out stronger for the placements of the students. They are interactive and cordial, which is rare in many colleges.
Placements: Placement record follows suit with all the other 2G Iims established within a period of 2008-2012. The placements for each year is increasing in terms of average package and the maximum and minimum packages drawn by the students. Many international companies are also visiting the campus.
Placements: The institute witnessed 100% placements for both the finals and summers fornthe year 2017-18 and some of the top recruiters were ITC, ABG, Barclays, Britaania, Amazon and TAFE. These companies offered a diverse set of roles in the domain of consulting, marketing, finance, operations and HR.
Placements: Summer Placements as well as Final Placements in 2017-18 were very good with 100% placed students for both batch. Average/the highest salary/stipend, Number of companies visited in each domain, Number of roles offered etc. Are increased significantly. Roles and Responsibilities related to placement is handled by efficient Placement Committee in both batches (Senior-Junior Placement Committee). .
Placements: The summer placements for our batch and the final placements of the senior batch were very good. All the students were placed in well reputed companies. The roles were in the domains likes marketing, consulting, finance, general management, strategy and some other specialised roles.
Placements: 100% placement is recorded in summer internship as well as final placements. A huge number of companies from different sectors like Finance, IT, Consulting, Digital, Media, Retail, and Marketing come to the college. It is completely a student-driven placement process by the placement committee.
Placements: There is a placement cell made for the students which is practically related to placements. The admin does nothing but the intervene create problems with approvals, class conflicts, etc. There isn't much support, and students do everything to get new companies, conduct the process, and even represent the institute at all meetings.
