Review of IIT Kanpur - Indian Institute of Technology.

Faculty: The faculty here are very well qualified, highly knowledgeable and experienced. But sometimes its hard to learn from them. The course curriculum is very great as it directly makes students industry-ready. The exams are held very often and have a very high level of difficulty.

Absolutely satisfied with the college and its academics.

Faculty: The faculties are mostly good, but some are really bad. Mostly, if you reach out to them for help, they will reply positively. In IITK, the course curriculum is one of the most flexible ones. Around 50 percent of your coursework allows you to choose, and you can take courses from other departments as well.

College culture is good.

Faculty: Teachers are extremely qualified in their fields. They teach with efficient methods and the quality is top-notch. IIT Kanpur is known for its academics. I think the curriculum is okay. And it does make the student industry ready. The exams are quite difficult but it mostly depends on the professors. Pass% is 60%.

Excellent infrastructure and facilities, well-defined curriculum with great faculty.

Faculty: The faculty is extremely good, helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also excellent, and the course curriculum is relevant. It prepares students for the infrastructure industry and also enhances their skills in other areas. There are sufficient courses available for knowledge about computer science so that students can build a strong foundation to apply in tech companies. The semester exams are very difficult, and while there is relative grading, the pass percentage...

Our college infrastructure and faculties are excellent. Placements are overall very good.

Faculty: Our professors are highly qualified from different foreign countries, no doubt about their knowledge. We have quiz every alternate weeks. Professors also conduct presentations, assignments. We have mid semester exam at the middle of the course and end semester exam at the end of the course.

The reality of IIT Kanpur.

Faculty: The faculty and teachers are very helpful but not all of them. There is always some teacher who does not push the students. Most of the professors are well-educated and good. Teaching done on the smart board so teaching quality is very good. Yes, the courses that we have studied can make one 90% ready to join the industry. Semester exam are always very tough in IIT Kanpur and very rigorous.

Great infrastructure with unfairly hard academics.

Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable but some are aloof and careless. The teaching quality varies. While all the teachers are Masters in their respective subjects, many lack the patience and skills to explain and relate to the students. The course curriculum is relevant with many new and exciting topics. I would say that the courses do prepare the students, o content wise, for the industry. The subjects range from very difficult to easier ones. Overall, the semesters are difficult but not extreme. The pas...

Never ending IIT journey .

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in college; they tried to explain each and every concept related to the subject, and they want you too get to explore deeply in the subject. IIT has a fast semester of 3 months, and papers are held that get finished in a week, so it is more relaxing.

Review of Earth Science Course, IIT Kanpur.

Faculty: Teachers are good to some extent in teaching. They are helpful. The course is relevant for core profiles. More effort should be put into internships and placements, but it is hard for BS students to get placed in core companies. Exams are mainly subjective, which can make them feel a bit challenging. The pass percentage in my course is generally good.

Review of Computer Science Engineering, IIT Kanpur.

Faculty: Teachers are very good and have high teaching levels. They have done PhDs in foreign countries. The course curriculum is important and very relevant for internships and placements. Courses are well and good, but extra reading should be done for internships and placements. Semester exams will be hard as all students are talented. Pass percentage will be based on proof, and some might be strict.

Review of Material Science Engineering, IIT Kanpur.

Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable, but some are not suited for teaching, so students often rely on reference books or YouTube. The course curriculum is relevant, but I feel some courses are not useful. You need to study extra during free periods to be industry-ready. Professors decide the difficulty level of exams, and the pass percentage in my course is more than acceptable.

Good Infrastructure, Tough Academics.

Faculty: Teachers here are called professors. They are much more qualified than the content of the topic and teach at a high level, thinking of us at their own level. The course curriculum is somewhat relevant but not fully. Exams are very difficult.

The college is good for students to study.

Faculty: The teachers are friendly with students in Study topic but the teachers helps us to do good in exam by taking extra classes during exam time. The teachers force the student to score good marks and place in the campus with good skills. The sem exam are easy but the passing percentage of students is 36.

Real Experience In IIT Kanpur.

Faculty: The faculty of IIT Kanpur are very helpful, and some professors are very good, but it is difficult to get a course under the good professors. Sometimes they reject the course requests, and sometimes they do not take the courses. The teaching quality is also good, and the classrooms are smart classrooms with Wi-Fi. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant for us, but the academics at IIT Kanpur are very hectic. No, the course does not make us industry-ready. The semester exams in my department are ...
