Candidates need to complete a minimum of Class 12 with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC and ST categories) to apply for NALSAR University of Law BA LLB (Hons) programme. NALSAr University of Law offers admission to LLM programme through CLAT score. To get admission to the LLM programme, candidates must fulfill the following conditions:

1. LLB or any equivalent degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate (For candidates belonging to General/ OBC/ PwD/ NRI/ PIO/ OCI category),
or
2. LLB or any equivalent degree with a minimum of 45% aggregate (For candidates belonging to SC/ ST category). 
Note: There is no age limit criteria for admission to LLM programme. Provided, if two candidates score's same marks in CLAT paper, then the candidate of higher age is given preference at the time of admission to the university. 

Out of 118 BA LLB (Hons) graduates, 96 were placed during 2022 placements. Earlier, 87 out of 105 BA LLB (Hons) students were placed during 2021 placements. Aspirants who have passed a three-year LLB course with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST) can apply for NALSAR University of Law LLM programme. However, admission committee may decide to reduce the percentage of qualifying exam. Aspirants appearing for the qualifying exam in April/ May are also eligible to apply.

For taking admission in BA LLB in Nalsar University a candidate is needed to have minimum 45% in aggregate in 12th. For LLM a candidate is needed to have minimum 55% in aggregate in LLB .
