The modes of Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati admission are online and offline. Admission to various undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. courses is based on merit and various entrance exam scores. At the undergraduate level, the college offers four-year BTech courses to students. At the postgraduate level, the college offers two-year MSc, MTech, and various other courses to students. Candidates who wish to apply to the M.Tech programme at IIT Tirupati must have a valid GATE score. The candidates are screened based on their CGPI in BE/BTech and GATE scores during COAP counselling. IIT JAM 2025 examination is scheduled to be conducted on February 2, 2025. The examination will be held in 2 sessions. IIT Madras, the examination conducting body will be organizing the exam at the JAM 2025 exam centres across the nation.

IIT JAM is a joint entrance examination conducted by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) for admission to M.Sc., Ph.D., and other postgraduate programs in Science and its allied subjects. It is one of the most popular entrance exams for Science students in India 

NTA announced JEE Main 2024 dates. NTA coducted the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions. JEE Main 2024 exam date session 1 was January 24 to February 1 while the second session was held from April 4 to 15. IISc Bangalore conducted the GATE 2024 exam on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. The GATE 2024 application form was released on 24th August 2024 on the official website at gate.iisc.ac.in. The organising institute for GATE 2024 was IISc Bangalore. The exam was conducted online as a computer-based test for 29 papers. Candidates had to solve 65 questions in 180 minutes (3 hours). IIT Roorkee will announce the GATE 2025 result on March 19, 2025. To check the result, candidates will need to enter their GATE enrollment ID, registered email ID, and date of birth. The GATE exam is very prestigious among engineering and Science graduates. It is conducted every year by one of the IITs among the nine IITs. In 2024, IISc Bangalore conducted the GATE exam. The exam also opens various opportunities for engineering and Science graduates to work in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and in the field of research. IIT Tirupati offers the four-year BTech across five specialisations, namely Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Civil Engineering. Is BE/BTech at IIT Tirupati Worth the Investment?

Based on feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary:

Infrastructure and Facilities: IIT Tirupati has good infrastructure and facilities, including well-maintained hostels, laboratories, and libraries. The campus is beautiful, and the sports complex is well-equipped.

Teaching Quality: The faculty members are highly qualified and knowledgeable, with most holding Ph.D. degrees from reputed institutions. They are interactive, approachable, and willing to help students.

Course Curriculum: The course curriculum is relevant and industry-focused, preparing students for real-world challenges. Elective options allow students to specialize and gain practical skills.

Placement Record: While the placement record is improving, it's still a concern area. Core engineering companies are scarce, and salaries may not be as high as those offered by IT companies. However, some students have secured high-paying jobs in non-core industries.

Internship Opportunities: Students have reported receiving internship offers from renowned companies, including international organizations.

Student Life: Extracurricular activities, cultural events, and club initiatives contribute to a vibrant campus life. The college organizes an annual techno-cultural fest, "Tirutsava," which attracts participation from across the country.

Food and Living Conditions: While the mess food receives mixed reviews, the hostel rooms are clean and spacious. Remote-controlled fans and lights are available, and laundry facilities are convenient.

Overall, IIT Tirupati seems to be a good institution, albeit with areas for improvement, particularly regarding placement records. Prospective students must weigh these factors carefully before deciding whether it's the right fit for them.

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice. 

Out of all the BTech specialisations offered by IIT Tirupati, Computer Science and Engineering has the most competitive cutoff in Round 6 of 2022 compared to the rest. Electrical Engineering follows this branch of Engineering. With respect to the placements, companies, such as Adobe, Microsoft, Amazon, Sprinkler and Salesforce have been hiring students of CSE. As per the verified students' reviews on Shiksha, approximately 95% of the students receive placement opportunities every year and the average package for this specialisation ranges between INR 20 LPA and INR 24 LPA. Hence, IIT Tirupati can be considered a decent option for CSE.
