    A:
    {Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Here's my attempt to answer the question "Is B.E./B.Tech at ILAHIA College of Engineering and Technology a good choice?" based on the reviews and feedback provided:

    Pros:

    * Good Placement Record: According to many students, ILAHIA College of Engineering and Technology has a good record of placing its students in reputed companies such as Wipro, Information Park, TCS, and others. Many students mentioned receiving salaries ranging from INR5,000 to INR60,000 per month.
    * Helpful Faculty Members: Students praised the faculty members' willingness to help and guide them throughout their studies. They considered themselves industry-ready due to the faculty's involvement in project work and practical sessions.
    * Infrastructure and Facilities: The college has good infrastructure, with modern laboratories, a departmental library, and Wi-Fi connectivity. The hostel facilities, although needing improvement, are deemed satisfactory.
    * Extra-Curricular Activities: ILAHIA offers numerous clubs, societies, and events, providing students with ample opportunities to engage in extracurricular activities, volunteerism, and leadership roles.

    Cons:

    * Core Branch Placements: While the college places many students in IT companies, students from non-core branches (like Civil and Mechanical) might face challenges finding employment directly related to their specialization.
    * Some Departments Need Improvement: A few students mentioned that certain departments require better equipment and resources to facilitate effective learning.
    * Communication Skills: Although not explicitly stated, a few students hinted at issues with communicating effectively, potentially affecting their performance in interviews and other professional settings.

    Conclusion:
Based on the feedback, it seems that studying BE/BTech at ILAHIA College of Engineering and Technology can be a good choice for those interested in pursuing a career in IT, particularly in areas like Computer Science and Electronics. However, students from non-core branches may need to consider alternative options or prepare diligently to secure placements outside their department. Overall, the college's supportive faculty, decent infrastructure, and good placement records make it a viable option for aspiring engineers.

Excellent facilities. Good atmosphere and ambience.
Placements: Most students will get placement. General packages are between 20000 and 30000. The recruiting companies are mainly South Indian-based, like Infosys. Generally, almost all students who get a CGPA of 6 and above get placement by campus interview.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classroom, libraries, etc.—all facilities are available and good in this campus. Good atmosphere and better ambience are there. Hostel facilities are also good. Food in mess and canteen have good quality. Medical facilities are also available. Sports and games are also active in this college.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching qualities and academic studies are extremely excellent. Campus industry for robotics is also available in this college. The college is under Kerala Technical University (KTU). Minimum pass percentage is 40%.

The college has good infrastructure and looks impressive from the outside.
Placements: The percentage of students placed is almost 30%-50%. The placement cell in our college does its best to provide placements. The highest package is ₹25,000 per month, and the lowest is ₹15,000 per month. The top recruiting companies are IBM, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, etc. Internships are offered to almost all students. Top roles include HR Officer.
Infrastructure: The department is very good to see and has NBA certification. The labs are well-equipped, and they provide high-speed Wi-Fi to activate our systems. The quality of hostel food is very good. They have an MS committee that allows us to choose our food every month, and they always provide good meals. There is also a new gym facility. The sports and medical teams are always active.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in helping us achieve our goals. They assist a lot with studying and are always ready to clear doubts. The curriculum prepares a person for the industry but at a basic level. Semester exams are a little difficult, but it is easy for all students to pass if they study well.
Other: Yes, I chose this for my best option. Nothing much needs to be improved. Events are a bit low in frequency, but campus connectivity is good. Students are friendly with each other, and the college provides a lot of scholarships to reduce costs.

Good college, but feels a bit like a prison.
Placements: Many top core companies like Ashok Leyland, SFO Technologies, Tata, and Mahindra come to our college for campus interviews. The average salary package offered is around 5 LPA, with the highest package being 15 LPA and the lowest 3 LPA. Getting an internship is not hard since the staff have a lot of connections. The highest role offered in this course is Chief Engineer in the Electricity Board.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure is average, with some departments excelling. Every department has its own library, and there’s also a central library, which is a huge help for references and source materials. The hostel facilities are above average, and there is also a gymnasium for students and staff.
Faculty: Most of the lecturers are qualified and have experience, but some teachers may have a bad attitude. The course is relevant enough, but the revised 2023 scheme offers better options. The semester exams are tough, but with enough preparation, passing is not that hard.
Other: I chose B.Tech in EEE due to its scope in the future and because I enjoy working. I believe it would be better if they increased practical hours, as it's easier to learn practically. Events and fests depend on the efficiency of the student association, but still, every academic year, there are at least 4 or 5 events or fests. Obscura, organized by our college, is one of the best technical fests in Kerala, showcasing students' engineering prowess and technical capabilities.

Absolutely happy to choose my college.
Placements: All students with top academic skills will be placed in good companies in CSE, AI, Cyber, EEE, EC, etc., like Wipro, Information Park, etc. Other courses like civil, mechanical, etc. have several local and national construction and mechanical companies that are offered jobs, and there is an industrial park on campus.
Infrastructure: All courses have different buildings as departments, and the campus is beautiful and has a very natural feel in all senses. For all courses, lab facilities are available, along with all infrastructure. The hostel has good infrastructure with good food and facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members are really good and helpful. They are really helpful for projects or others. In almost all study materials, their methods help the students develop in an industry-ready mode. Several series of exams are conducted, which helps in the semester exams and aftermath.
Other: I think ILAHIA is the more affordable college in terms of range of facilities and study programs. Almost all important courses are available and give more importance to extra curricular activities and volunteership programs like NSS, YRC, IEDC, IEE, etc. Several programs, like tech-festival, arts and sports and other club events, are there, giving more reason to choose.

Placements: Around 80% of students got placed in our college. The lowest salary is Rs. 5000 per month, the highest salary is Rs.60000 per month and the average salary is Rs.35000 per month. Microsoft, Information park, TCS, etc., are the recruiting companies. Around 90% internships are offered in our college. The college infrastructure is very good and all the facilities are very good. We can enjoy our college life in this college.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, all required labs, libraries, etc., are available in our college. The hostel is good and contains good food. Hostel rooms and facilities in the hostel are good. The hostel has a neat and clean mess. The serving time of food is punctual. The food is also very good. Hostel has clean toilets. The infrastructure is also good.
Faculty: All the teachers are very helpful and qualified and all have very good knowledge. All the faculties have good experience and all are very cooperative. Review of ILAHIA College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Campus drives from various companies are provided, but most of them were fake during our course period. Students who joined after course completion found out that there is no vacancy available as in the offer letter. I am stating the campus recruitments for the year 2019.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are satisfying. The hostel has quality rooms with an above-average mess at an affordable price. It needs renovation works for the classrooms and more than that the lab should be equipped with the latest machinery's. Wi-Fi is provided to appropriate branch students.
Faculty: Almost all the faculty members are dedicated and promising except a few others. They cover the syllabus at an appropriate time and do pepper exams in between the semester. About 75% of the lecturers are qualified. They have a good knowledge and vision about the subjects.
Other: I have chosen this course because most of the students who got placed from our college belong to that stream. It is also a good stream to build a successful career in a short time, or else you can choose a mechanical stream for the best campus experience. Events like tech fest, college day, arts, etc., are celebrated grandly, which will be your time to chill.
