My review of this is average because of good infrastructure and placement. This is the best college

Placements: IMS Engineering College offers many on-campus and off-campus industrial internships for the student but these internships for students are self-paid. TCS is a major recruiter on the campus. Kamdhenu Steel, Amul, Sri Ram Piston, etc. also visited. Every year, 55% students are placed through the campus placement drives but again, there is always a variation in placements. Every year, depending on the market demand, the average salary from campus placement ranges from around Rs 3.56 lakhs per annum...

Some good and bad things in IMSEC.

Placements: The placements of my senior batch are currently going on, and many students are placed in good companies. The highest package offered to them is 7-8 LPA, the average goes to 4 LPA, and the lowest goes to 2.8 LPA. Regarding the companies names, that is the thing that currently I don't know about. But some companies like Ericsson.IBM, Amazon, etc., visit the campus to hire the students.

Review of IMS Engineering College

Placements: It has a very good placement record. The average package is about 3.6 lacs per annum and the highest package is 6 lacs per annum given by Amazon. 80 percent students got placed in 2016. Amazon, IBM, TCS, Coca-Cola and many companies visited the campus. Ten percent students got the internship last year (2016). One hundred ninety students got placed in TCS in 2015. Most of the students who got placed in TCS are from computer science branch.

It is the truth of college. The information which is given in the college website is wrong.

Placements: The placement is neither so good nor bad. In comparison to other colleges in Ghaziabad, we can say the placement is good. In my knowledge some my seniors are selected in Ericsson through the college placement in 2016, but until now the joining letter is not sent by the company. The placement is average, but we can not say it is completely good.

Good college for average students

Placements: The placements are nice with a few reputed corporations visiting the campus along with a number of underrated companies. With CSE, IT and ECE taking the top three spots in terms of the number of students placed, the college has a respectable score of around 60% placements every year.

IMS Engineering College: Great if you want to learn new technologies and skills

Placements: The placement is good if we see from our branch's point of view. Last year, we had a 100% placement record. The average salary offered by companies which visited is around 3.2 to 3.5 lakhs per annum which is really a good start for any fresher from the CSE department. We also get offered for internship programmes from different local companies.

Decide wisely, do not be judgmental.

Placements: Placements were as good as any private engineering college's. The final year batch is sure to get placed in some core as well as IT companies irrespective of the branch. About 60% to 70% of the batch should be placed depending on the student's aptitude and skills being looked for. Expect the highest package of Rs. 4.5 lakhs per annum and the lowest of Rs. 1 lakh per annum. Core companies like Videocon, Asha Welds, GTV Boilers, Cummins, and other local industries visit frequently, apart from In...

Worth doing engineering. Atmosphere is good and healthy.

Placements: No placements for civil engineering here. No companies for the core. TCS is the major recruiter. The college helps in getting internships. Average stipend is around 5000-6000. Maximum and minimum stipend vary from 2500-10000. Keep your focus only on self-study. Try not to depend on the college assignments and tutorials. Study is based on the university exam pattern.

Best college for academics and educational support.

Placements: Placements are fine. Not too good, not too bad. But our college always tries its best for its students and CDC department always guides the students for achieving their goals. First, they focus on the IT companies and try to get more placements. Such companies are TCS, etc.

Absolutely satisfied with our teachers and infrastructure of the college.

Placements: Our college provides good placement in the field of CS as well as IT. Companies like TCS also visited our college. Last year, the highest package was 6.5 lpa. Our college calls the best companies to hire their students. It helps and supports a lot so that every student gets placed in a company with a great package. The average package is 3 lpa which is more than enough for freshers. Almost all the students got placed. Last year, 90 percent student got campus placement, which was a great achiev...

Good UPTU college in Ghaziabad, but need to prepare a good computer language like C, Java, Python.

Placements: There were 50% placements. In our time, TCS visited so 191 students were placed there. But students who were not placed were struggling more with getting a job as the companies coming were not of the core field and some of them visit to take 1 or 2 students or none.

Good placement opportunities and well qualified professors.

Placements: As like other private colleges, TCS is the major recruiter of IMSEC Ghaziabad. When I was in first year i.e; last year, TCS took 189 students from IMSEC. That is the most from any college of NCR and almost all the students of CS and IT were placed. There were good placements of EN, EC and mechanical too. On the other hand, Biotech branch of IMSEC is also too good as per the placement as almost all the students from Biotech got placed. But this year, TCS didn't come. As it was the main recruiter ...

The faculty is good but the chances of getting placed is decreasing.

Placements: Placements here are average but CDC is not very supportive. The process of placement varies according to the industrial requirement. Placements aren't stable. Some year, one company would be visiting and the other year not. You can't expect 100% placement here.

Average college with fluctuating placements.

Placements: Placements for our senior batch were excellent. About 65% students were placed. TCS alone recruited 191 students. The highest salary was offered by Josh technologies at 6 LPA and the average package was 2.7 LPA. The companies which visited the campus were TCS, Kamdhenu Ispat Ltd, Anglo Eastern Ltd, Mphasis, Tech Mahindra, Genpact, etc. There were different roles such as graduate engineer trainee and assistant software trainee. Nearly all students got the internship from the college. The highest ...

Decent college with good infrastructure and security.

Placements: The placements were good at my time. Around 190 students got placed in TCS. Now the condition has degraded a bit. But the teaching staff for ECE is very good. The placement officer is strict and has good contacts with companies. All you have to do is maintain good relations with the staff and placement faculty.

Good placements in 2016 and faculty are helpful all the time for any student.

Placements: My senior batch placements are very good and most of the seniors are placed in TC. But this year, TCS is not coming to the campus. Last year, many of the other companies are coming to the college campus but this time, fewer companies are coming. Most of the companies are not giving the result of whether the student is selected or not.

Placements: The placements are good. Some companies which visit our college are Tech Mahindra, Coca-Cola, Tata consultancy services, Mikuni International, Cipla and many more. Nearly 75 to 80% students get placed.

The upcoming best engineering college of Delhi-NCR.

Placements: The placement for my branch is very good as 50-60% students were placed from my branch last year. About 4-5 lacs was the salary package offered on an average, and my college is TCS-accredited, hence more than 150 students from different branches were placed in TCS last year. According to rankings, my college keeps its place in the top five private colleges in Delhi NCR. The students who obtained more than 80% marks got the internship from my college.

Placements: IMSEC provided very good placements as well as exposure to my batch as more than 92% students got placements in various companies. Most importantly, about 70% students got the average package of 4.2 LPA which is pretty good among the various colleges present in Delhi NCR region.
