IMS must be your last priority. If you do not get admission anywhere then consider it.

Placements: Placements here are the worse. Literally, the highest placement we got (or rather our seniors ) is 2.80 lacs per annum. That's it, that's the most you can get. Minimum is no placement at all. One more thing, not a single core company came for placements this year. Our seniors were raging on the HOD & Career Development Cell, which gave them false hope. After our seniors raged over they brought a company whose offer was 1.8 lacs per annum and night shift. So, basically, you don't get any sort of ...

Dissatisfied from the placements for the 2017 batch.

Placements: There are horrible placements for ECE department as there is no core company called by the CDC department for ECE. All companies called by the CDC department for 2017 batch are only for CS/IT and MBA students. Branches like ME, Civil, EN, EC do not exist for them. Less than 20% students from the ECE department got placed from 2017 batch. The minimum package for the ECE department is approximately 1.2 lacs and the maximum is up to 2.4 lacs only.

Absolute & sheer wastage of money studying in this college. Prefer going to ABES EC or ABES IT.

Placements: Looks like the placement cell works only for CS/IT branches. Placements of ECE branch were horrible for 2017 batch as only 1 mass recruiter company Ericsson came for placements. Placements for ME/civil didn't take place. The students kept on struggling with the college placement cell. Not many considerable companies came for placements of ECE/EN branch except for 3-4.

A good college with bad management and nice teachers.

Placements: Major recruiter in IMSEC is TCS. TCS offers 3 LPA CTC for ASE profile. About 25% students are placed in TCS every year. Besides TCS there are companies like GlobalLogic, Daffodil, Headstrong and Mphasis who come to recruit. But they comprise only 5-6% of total strength. Lowest offered CTC is 1.5 LPA, Average is 2.2 LPA and highest is 4.8 LPA. There are students who got placed in better companies by applying through AMCAT and eLitmus off-campus. For actual internships, you have to try by yoursel...

This college is not up to the mark in quality of teaching. Lab instructors do not teach well. Classes are not conducted as per schedule. Placement is pathetic and no good companies visit the college. Majority of the placements happen in pool campus in some other college, where preference is given to their college students. Pre-placement preparation is also unsatisfactory. Only Computer Science students get preference, while students of other branches suffer due to ineffective management.

The policies of the college are not good, like, on issuing a book from college they charge extra fees for it and student has to return the book by the end of semester, the students preparing for GATE, PSU, etc. have to pay twice for purchasing books. The infrastructure of the college is very poor because they have no elevator or ramp for disabled. The whole campus is designed for centralised air conditioning but they do not provide it, so due to no proper ventilation temperature of the classes g...

At first the college seems fine but as the time elapsed it becomes difficult to survive. During my four years of graduation the quality of education degraded by an exponential rate and so do the quality of campus life. College has some of the most stupid norms that will make you regret your decision of choosing this college.

Friends if you are getting admission to this college without any fee waiver then it is totally a wastage of money. It will waste your time as well as destroy your career. Every student wants to remember his/her college life in future but this college cannot make your college life memorable. Bad college, so I would suggest you not to choose this one for engineering. It will leave you in the silence of uncertainty. They charge fees even for wi-fi and industrial visits but never took us on any kind...

Very poor college. AKG or ABES are the best colleges.

Placements: In the name of placement you get job of sales. You get placement only if you spend extra money on your skill development. The college does not help you out with your career. They only focus on money making business.

Poor wi-fi connection and hostel facility.

Placements: 50% placement occurred in CS/IT. The highest package is 4.5 LPA. The lowest package is 2.0 LPA. Mostly sales and marketing companies visit the campus. Top recruiting companies are Velocity Technology, Vinove, Successive Technologies, RedCarpet, Vinculum etc.

Placements: No student got placed from our college. Kalpana Gupta and Pragya Shukla only favour girls during the placement process.

It provides a good platform to change ourself. Faculty are supportive, but placements make us sad.

Placements: Placements in our college are not as satisfactory. In the batch of 2017-2019, around 52% of students got placed, but only 8-10 students got placed in a reputed organisation like Colgate, Hindware, Ceasefire and SS&C, and other students got placed in very small companies. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. The highest salary offered is Rs. 35,000 per month, but it was offered to only one student. Companies were somehow not small, but the designation is not justified as some of the...

Join it only if this is the last option you are having and you don't have further attempts left.

Placements: Placements for our senior batch were very nice. Most of them got placed in TCS. For our batch, it couldn't be worse. But here I'm not reviewing it on the basis of placements. I don't even know the much about the companies visited here. They were some small scale companies from Allahabad, and there were BPOs. Roles offered were mostly of customer support. I'm from computer science, so very few roles were for a developer. However, they show on their website as 100% placements, but that doesn't mat...

Review of IMS Engineering College.

Placements: Placement is below average. The average salary package offered is 2.2 to 2.4 LPA in Computer Science and Electronics and Communication branch. Companies like Infosys, Lava, TCS, Coca-cola and previous year Amazon also visited the campus for placement. If you think about on-campus placement, then it all depends on luck by chance. About 35 % of student got placed this year. Here you get the opportunity to sit in different placements also if you got selected in any previous company.
