Placement is bad especially for ME and CE.

Placements: College Placement is not good core companies are not coming to college for campus drive. Companies are coming for Sales, Marketing and other which are not core according to branch. Especially Mechanical and civil engineering placement is very bad compared to other branch.

The college has good faculty, library, events, and average infrastructure.

Placements: Placements in college are good compared to most of the other colleges. Placements this year were excellent. The recruiters in this year were TCS, Amazon, Samsung R&D, etc. If we talk about the previous year placements, they were also very good. So, placements are average sometimes and excellent the other times.

The infrastructure of the college is good, but placements are not good.

Placements: Placements, specifically in the mechanical stream are not that well, especially when I left our college. However, these days, the scenario is changing due to the establishment of SAE Society. Students are getting a fair chance to embrace their skills, and MINDA shortlists at least four students every year. If we talk about the IT sector, the placement scenario is comparably better than other colleges in the NCR region.

Dissatisfied with the faculty. In 2017, the placements were not good.

Placements: Placements in the college of our branch are very bad. Only 5 to 6 students out of 60 got placed in the college placements. Placements of IMSEC depends on TCS company, that is students of any branch get placed in this company. In 2017, TCS didn't visit our college, so placements were very bad. In 2016, TCS visited our college to hire students, so placements were better. Overall, placements in our college were poor.

A good college with average placements and faculty, and it is only good for IT and CSE.

Placements: The placement percentage is around 60%. Only CSE and IT students get placed on the campus, and the rest other branch students are left at their destiny. The highest salary package was 6 LPA, and the lowest was 1.8 LPA. The companies like NTT Data, Bhilwada, Samrtprix, Algoworks, etc., visited the campus for placements. All the placed students were not offered engineers job as some were offered sales marketing job, and some were BPO jobs. There is almost no assistance from the college to get an ...

Overall if one could not get into IITs and NITs can go for admission in this college.

Placements: A placement cell is there highly devoted for getting more and more number of students to be placed in best companies as possible. College has collaboration with some companies like TCS and more which offer job to various students, around more than 50, annually. Apart from that some other countries also visited campus during my final year. Being a private college under state University job package is little low, around 2.5 Lacs per annum, is obvious.

Ims engineering college review (computer Science department). Overall the college is good for CS.

Placements: The placements here for the computer science department are pretty good. Nearly 60-70% of the students have got the placements this year and last year from campus placements. The average package is between 3 LPA. The placements are not good for other branches, like in ME department placements are nearly 5-10% from campus.

The review of IMS Engineering College(mechanical department).

Placements: Let me tell you about the placement specifically about ME department. Here, in IMSEC, only 5 to 10 percent students got placed, and that too in IT-firm, and there is no core company for ME branch. I would suggest students to not join in this college if he or she is seeking a private job. Although department wise, it is good. All the teachers in ME department are highly qualified and are M.Tech holders from IIT.

IMSEC a place to learn and grow, because you will get each experience good and bad too.

Placements: Placement of the college is below average in EC (core). Placement of CS/IT is quite okay. So, according to me a good college for CS/IT from placement point of view. According to me college does not invest more in placement, so companies are free to select any number (zero also).

Review of ims engineering college specially ECE department review.

Placements: Talking about the placement, here in this college only CS and it company visit and some times they allow ECE students to appear for the interview if you really want to get placed here then learn Java that is the only case to get placed. Otherwise topper and high scorer of ECE department were not abel to get placed beacuse there is no mnc or national core ECE company visited Science 4 years. Tcs WAS a major recruiter here but they refuse to came now. Erricson visited last year but not this year (...

Good faculty and classes but not good in placements.

Placements: As far as I am watching placements are not very good at this college. Most of the students are getting 2 LPA salary packages, and most of them don't even get that. The placements are not good. Biotechnology course provides good placement here, but this year they also didn't show up yet. We are also hoping for the best to come.

Average college, dissatisfying teaching methods, disgusting placements and average infrastructure.

Placements: There are very bad placements in our college. Placements are available only for the CS branch. ME and CE have zero placements. BT, IT and EC have low placements. CS has average placements, 30% of them are placed. All software companies and BPOs visited the campus. Almost 40% of the students got internships. There is a good placement cell in our college.

Average faculty, below average placement in 2016, and good infrastructure.

Placements: As a computer science student, placements are only in CS and IT branch, i.e., only 50%. The college placements only depend on TCS, and whenever TCS does not come in college, then placement is not more than 20%. Not that good company came, but it recruited only 1 or 2 or even zero.

A review on IMS Engineering College.

Placements: Very few companies have visited the college. But, if you visit the college website, you find that many multinational companies have visited here. This college has a good facility for CS and ME. The faculty are quite good, but rest of the branches are the worst. The college is NAAC accredited and also NBA for only CS and ME, but they promote like all the branches have NBA accreditation. Please do not join this college at least for ECE, EE, and CE, you can join CS. CS branch is quite okay here.

Satisfied with the faculty members there.

Placements: The senior batch placement was quite good, approximately, 80% of the students were placed. The maximum package offered to the senior batch was 6 lacs, and the minimum was around 2 lac. Placement in our batch was not much good, approximately, 50% of the students were placed. The maximum package offered was 6 lacs and minimum was 1.8 lac.

The placements here are rare even in CS. They will show you a list, but the companies are very bad.

Placements: The placements are very less as mass recruiters like TCS didn't come for our batch. They call some companies which are just okay but will not land you a good job. Do not aspect a good company because None come here. I heard ABES and KIET are doing a lot better.

Let me tell you about IMSEC.

Placements: Though the number of companies visits the campus for the placement, and a few students got selected. Their pay scale is not worthy of their knowledge. They have to work against their willing. Many of the talented students remain unemployed. This isn't the college fault but of the education system.

The college is not good for placements, and it will be not like a college but a school.

Placements: The college placements are very poor. Only a few companies come which hire a maximum of 2 or 3 students for a very poor job and pay very less. Some of them also hire for BPO. There is a minimum of 6 months training in this period. The maximum salary offered is only Rs. 10,000 or Rs. 15,000. So, the placements are very poor in IMS, and they only allow CS, IT and ECE students and the rest of the students cannot even sit in the placements. In my batch, only 30 to 40 students are placed for very poo...

Good college, faculty, location is better, worse management, not focus on important things.

Placements: There are no placements for core mechanical. Only sales and consultancy jobs are available. In the advertisements, they say that 150+ companies visit the campus, but it is fake. The companies offer the jobs for supervisor post only. You should try on your contacts for a good job. The package offered is not great. Only one or two percent of the students get the internship from the college.

I am satisfied with the placement and teaching quality of the college.

Placements: The placement was decent compared to other colleges in Aktu. It has a very good placement record in the computer science engineering, information technology and Biotechnology. Otherwise, there will require an average placement in the mechanical, electronic and communication and the electrical and civil engineering branches.
