The faculty is not knowledgeable, but after one year they have fully air-conditioned classrooms.

Placements: In the name of placements, the major recruiters who visit the college are TCS, Ericson, MATT data etc. The average package offered is 2.17 lacks per annum. The major recruitment is for computer science and IT department due to higher demand for IT sectors. Every year almost 58 percent of students were placed, but there is variation in placements every year.

A college with sufficient placement, poor infrastructure but good faculty members.

Placements: The placement in core branches is almost zero, however, CS and IT sectors have sufficient placements. 50% students were placed from the senior batch with an average package of about 3.5 lacs. The companies from IT sector mostly visit. The roles offered by them are obviously of engineers.

Choose this college only if you are restricted to get admitted in any private college of AKTU

Placements: Placements are average and this college is no more accredited with TCS. Mostly, students are placed through pool campus placements. The average salary is around 3.3 LPA. Last year, Ericsson took many students from our college. Other companies too visited the campus quite often and recruited a handful of students. So, frankly speaking. you cannot completely depend on this college for placements.

A good college for good students.

Placements: The placement in a mechanical core company is not so good as only 3-4 mechanical companies come for the recruitment, in which, only 4-5 students get selected in each. But good mechanical students get recruited in IT companies at an annual package of Rs. 2.5- 3.0 lakhs.

Overall, this college is average, neither good nor bad. I would rate it 3 out of 5.

Placements: Placements are not good. Hardly 10 to 15 students were placed through the campus recruitment. The salary range varied from 1.5 lacs to 3.5 lacs annum. Miekuni, Aashirwad, Angloeastern, Ronauk Automotive Cop Limited, etc. recruited the students. The placement of our seniors was mostly off-campus as no industry visits for mecahnical.

IMS- engineering college or school?

Placements: In my batch, no one is placed till now. But in the final year batch, out of 60 students, 30 have been placed. The placement is not good in IMS. They take advance money in the name of placement every year. This is a private college and placement is the topmost priority of the management, but now a days, the number of companies coming is very less. Last year, TCS did not come up, so there were less placements. Otherwise, TCS provides more than 50 percent placement in our college.

IMSEC: a place full of great experience that's hard to get.

Placements: This has been the worst year for our college in terms of placement activity. Our college is tied with TCS and TCS had already informed in advance they have extremely few vacancies for this year. This made them delay and at last, in the month of Feb, TCS was forced to cancel its selection process due to extremely few vacancies, which they filled by interviewing their Techathon applicants at their Noida office. So only 40% students were placed and that too in CSE branch at 7 lacs package, which ...

Faculty is not good (except some of them), placement is below average, good infrastructure.

Placements: Placement is below average, however, TCS comes almost every year and recruits almost from every branch. TCS is the only famous recruiter in IMSEC. Other small companies also come but specially for CSE students (only for IT industries). Highest package: 6 lpa. Lowest packages: 1.8 lpa. The college doesn't help students for getting an internship. Some students find it on their own.

Good college, average placement and average infrastructure with good faculty.

Placements: Placement is normal like other UPTU colleges, with the highest package of approx 7 lac per annum to lowest package of 96000 per annum. The average package of my college is 2.1 lacs. Companies that visited are Coca-Cola, TCS, Genpact, JK Tech, Sopra, NTT Data etc. 10% students usually have payless internship offered by the college. As far as I know, there is no such stipend offered to any of my batchmates. So I'll say very less industrial approach we have in our college. ...

The college has a good faculty and labs but the placement for our batch was really low.

Placements: The number of placements this year are nothing as compared to last year. Very few companies have visited the campus and packages offered were also low. The college did manage to send some in some pool campus recruitment drives for some good companies though.

A very average college. Poor placements.

Placements: Placement in this college is not that good. Our seniors are still not placed and searching for a job off campus. The average package is about 2.5 lacs. I must say CS branch students placement is quite good as compared to other branches. Internship opportunities are less for students.

The placement in the college is down.

Placements: The 7th semester is going to complete, but no campus drive happened. Only a few students are placed, who got an opportunity in pool campus. There is no company visited the college, so can't tell about the average salary. The students at IMS Engineering College are prepared to crack TCS else have no future. The college offers an internship only for few students and also give a chance to the students to do an internship in the foreign countries.

Feedback of IMSEC. The infrastructure is fine and the teaching is also very good.

Placements: Placements are up to only 30-40% overall. TCS takes a good amount of students from CS and IT. TCS takes also EC students but mainly from CS and IT. TCS is the only company which comes always. The highest package is up to 3.50 lakhs from TCS and 2 lakhs minimum. 1 student of CS also got 6.99 lakh package from Infosys.

Bad management and teaching staff.

Placements: The college provides good placements, especially for computer science and IT branches but mostly are from mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant. Fests are being conducted regularly. Some good companies apart from mass recruiters also visit the college. For mechanical and other branches, the placement is poor. You have to be very good in studies for getting placed.

IMS Engineering College's infrastructure is simple and is covering about 7 acres. It just deals with the necessary blocks here. Regarding placements, 3 to 4 companies come here for the campus selection and one of the basic companies which takes students in bulk is TCS. This is the only core company coming in the college. Regarding faculty members, they are not up to the mark as they just train you to secure marks.

It is good college in terms of education but lacks extracurricular activities as the faculties doesn't coordinate for these activities. Overall nice atmosphere with high focus on studies. Some faculties are good and some cannot be rated that much as there is different thinking of different people. Good cafeteria which is very large. Location of college is good. I study in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. The Faculty of the College is average. Campus placement is good. But the other activities in the college are not very much encouraged. College mainly focuses on theory portion. Emphasis on practical is quite less. Placement facilities of this college campus is not so good. The ranking number of this college is very good. The faculty is very good. All faculty members are highly qualified and perform their job in a very good manner.
