Overall, IPEC is quite good compared to other colleges in NCR region. Placement was average in 2015.

Placements: The placement of my batch was average. Out of 55 students in my branch, 15 were placed in Infosys. Salary offered by Infosys was 3.5 lpa. Mainly Infosys visited for mass recruitment. Around 120 students in total got placed in Infosys. The company offered the role of a software trainee. The college did not offer any kind of internship.

Not satisfied because of bad placements in 2015.

Placements: The placement cell is not as expected. They say 100% placements but do not provide the same. Only one bulk recruiter came to the campus. No company was there for students having less than 60%. Only marks are considered and not the knowledge of the student. Faculty members are not fully involved in placements. But there is one one teacher who is helpful and he is Mandeep Katre.

A college worth studying in: IPEC.

Placements: Placements were good. Out of those who willingly wanted the job, 70-80% students were placed. Almost 110-115 companies visited the college last year for placements. The highest package was 8.4 lacs. Lowest was 2 lacs. Average salary range- 3 lacs. Companies like JBM, Amazon, Infosys, Indian Navy, etc. Mainly companies were of sales category.

The placement is good for computer science and information technology.

Placements: Placements in Inderprastha engineering college in this year (2017) are very good for the computer science and information technology students. About 90 to 95 companies visited our college and 70-75 % students are placed in a company. The package they offer is 3.2 lakhs PA. Placements are good in the college but not for mechanical and civil students as only 4-5 companies visited for mechanical and civil students.

Placements are pretty good for CS and IT graduates.

Placements: If you want to get placed, go for computer science or information technology. Placements are pretty good for CS and IT graduates. Most of my batchmates are placed in companies viz. IBM, Infosys, Sopra, HCL, Hewlett Packard, Amazon, Paytm, AON, and many more. Talking about the percentage of students placed, roughly till now 80-90% of the students of CS and IT branch are placed till the date of 2017 batch. The highest salary offered this year was by Hewlett Packard which was around 5 lakhs per ann...

Good placements. Best teachers. Not very good infrastructure.

Placements: Placement for CSE department is quite good. Every average student is placed and some have 2-3 offers in their hand. Overall placement is about 80% as far as I know. Placements of the last batch were also very good. All the big names in the IT industry like Infosys, Rsystems, Sopra Steria and CSC visit our college for placements.

A good college for those who want to pursue a career in computer science department.

Placements: It has a very good placement record for computer science and IT departments. Near about 60+ companies already visited the campus. About other streams, companies visited the college but mass recruitment did not take place. The maximum companies that visited were IT companies. Most students have already got a placement. The highest package offered is 7.5 lakh by Samsung to a CS branch student. And the average salary is near about 1.8 lakh per annum. I got a package of 3.2 lakh p.a. Some companies ...

Good rank in university colleges, good infrastructure, highly qualified faculty.

Placements: In my college, there is a great number of placements given. In my senior batches, there are approximately 40-50% engineers that got placed easily. The min. salary offered was 1.5 lakh and the highest was 30 lakh. Almost all the companies visit here.

Decent college in Delhi NCR.

Placements: The placement is pretty decent for computer science, information technology and other computer related branches but quite low for mechanical engineering and civil engineering for 2016 batch. Not a lot of companies visit the campus for mechanical students. Army and Navy did come in 3rd year for all branches.

Excellent faculty members and average placements every year. Well-equipped infrastructure etc.

Placements: Placement is the most important aspect of each student before taking admission in a college but in a college of AKTU, you cannot be sure of placement. In Indraprastha, 7-8 companies come for placements among which is Infosys, HCL and some others. All companies mostly take CS, IT and ECE students. But last year, 6 mechanical students got placed from the college with a 5.5 lakh package. Indraprastha has improved in placements from the previous years' record. In the last batch, 70 percent of the st...

Satisfying nature of college.

Placements: The highest package grabbed this year is 8 lakhs. Placement percentage is 75-80%. Main recruiters are Infosys, Amazon, HCL, Dell, Wipro. Every year, the average package is of 2.5-3 lakhs. This year, Adobe company came for the first time in college history. In this college, placement of CSE branch always remains high, followed by IT branch and electrical branch.

Original and true review about Indraprastha Engineering College, Ghaziabad.

Placements: Not good for civil engineering students. You have to place yourself with your personal links. No companies visit the campus for the civil engineering department. For placement, computer science students have a healthy opportunity. The placement cell is worried about the placement of computer science and information technology department and the placement for core branches like civil, mechanical and electrical are nearly nil.

Good infrastructure with good placement records.

Placements: The placement record is very good in this college if talk about in session 2016-17, then the placement record was its peak. Many big corporate companies multinational companies came to the campus for the placement drive like Infosys, HCL, HP, Adobe, Josh Technology, Cavisson, Nucleus Software, TCS, Pernod Ricard, etc and many others. Not only they just recruited many students, but they also gave them handsome packages. If talk about placements in the mechanical branch, then many big multinationa...

Good college but not for civil.

Placements: In civil and mechanical, placements are not good. Hardly 2 or 3 core companies recruit. Out of 130 students, around 2-3 students got placed in a core company and 8-9 students in other companies (non-core). It's around 9%. If we talk about the package of core companies, it's hardly 3 LPA for good companies, else you will get around 2 LPA. But for non-core companies, the package is good at around 3 LPA. If we look at CS/IT branches' placement, it's around 80%-85%, which is pretty good as compared ...

Average college of UPTU in Delhi NCR.

Placements: Placement is really good when you are in CS or IT branch. Very few students of ECE and EN are placed. Mechanical and civil, just forget about placement, let alone placement in a multi national company. For my batch, placement is 10 out of 60. The salary is very low.

A happy IPEC'ian here from Inderprastha Engineering College.

Placements: For campus placement drives, there are cells and a counselling platform within college premises to help you out for your career. The college professes 100% placements, but for CSE students, campus placements are good. Infosys and Sopra campus connect drives sort students before the completion of the 5th semester.

Give importance to quality of jobs rather than the quantity of jobs.

Placements: The placement season started quite late for the 2016 batch. Infosys, which was named as a mass recruiter for our college came as the 7th company and one of the very few recruiting for technical positions but hired only 43 students, which dented the hopes of many students of getting a technical job further. Placements: Well, the placement from the last two years is increasing. Companies like Sopra, Infosys, IBM, Adobe, Samsung etc have been recruiting a large number of students. But, the students from branches like mechanical or civil are facing some problems regarding their placement. Otherwise, everything is fine.

Overall, college is awesome but in order to success, only a student is responsible.

Placements: 90% of the students are placed from this college. If you are good, you will surely get placed. Many core companies come to the college for placement. College also sends students to outside for the placements. They also have collaboration with some prominent colleges like KIET's and RKJIT.

Placements: The placements for our batch are currently in process. Till now many companies have offered placements. The highest till now is 12 lacs by Indian Army/Indian Airforce.
