Review of Indian Institute of Carpet Technology.
Placements: Placements in our college are very good. More than 80% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 7.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Companies like Welpsum, Vardhman, Obitte, Standard Carpet Dubai and many other companies of India visited the campus for placements. Nearly 90% of students got internships for 3-6 months. Placement cell is also available here.
Infrastructure: The college provides high-speed Wi-Fi enabled labs. The college has all types of labs related to their course. Classrooms are very comfortable. Medical facilities are also available here. Many sports and cultural activities are held in this college from time to time.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful. They are well qualified. Some faculty members completed their PhDs from IITs. They are highly knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is very good. Their conduct both theoretical classes and practical classes. The faculty to student ratio is good. Some guest faculty sessions are also conducted.
Other: Many events like freshers party, annual day, farewell party, etc., are conducted here. Campuses are very peaceful. There is not much crowd. Scholarships are provided to all eligible students.

Absolutely satisfied by the college because of awesome experience and superb placements.
Placements: The placements are pretty decent. Many companies visited our campus such as Raymond, Welscun, Jaipur Rugs, and many local companies as well. The highest placement offered was 5.2 Lacs and the minimum was 1.6 Lacs per annum. 70 percent of the batch is placed till now and is expected the entire to be placed till the end of the semester.
Infrastructure: The campus has an awesome infrastructure with facilities such as Wi-Fi, canteen, Badminton court, table tennis room, basketball court, and a football ground as well. The labs are not so good as it contains old or no equipment. Same goes with the library as the books recommended by teachers are either not present or if present then in bad condition. The mess food is quite good with nonveg provided twice a week. The railway station and bus stations are also nearby.
Faculty: The faculty members are majorly from West Bengal and are highly qualified. They take a keen interest in solving problems related to studies as well as personal development. The faculty members take surprise tests which make students prepared with the course all the time. The student-faculty ratio is 40:1. No industry exposure was provided to me in my tenure of 4 years. The course curriculum provided is same across all the colleges which come under AKTU.
Other: The major events celebrated here are Allumini and freshers. The college also hosts some sports events as well.

I am dissatisfied with the faculty as they didn't teach well.
Placements: Placements in our college are good. Almost 60% of the students got placed in 2017 and 2018. In 2018, the highest package offered was 3.6 LPA, the lowest package was 1.8 LPA, and the average package offered was 22 LPA. Maximum companies have visited the campus for placements. Mainly, carpet companies have visited compared to the textile companies. Almost 100% of the students got internships from college. The highest stipend offered was Rs. 10,000 per month, and the lowest stipend offered was Rs. 5,000 per month. A placement cell is available in the college, and it is very useful.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facilities are available in the college as well as hostel 24X7. The library is good and has many books. Quality of labs and classrooms is good. The canteen is not available. Medical facilities are not available. Sports and games facilities are very good. Hostel rooms are large and good. I didn't face any infrastructure related issues during my college tenure.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are highly knowledgeable, and others are not. These faculty members came to the class to pass their time. Some teachers have a very good teaching style. The student to faculty ratio is 10:1. Some of the faculty members provide knowledge to the students about industry-related problems and its solutions.
Other: Many events are conducted in the college. Scholarships are provided by the state government. Students are supportive and helpful.

It is a good college with all the facilities.
Placements: Placements in the college were very good for our batch and our senior batch. Almost 95% of the students got placed from our batch. The highest salary package offered was 36 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 3.50 LPA and the average salary package offered was 6 LPA. Companies like Trident, Brandix, WellSpan and some companies from Dubai also visited for placements.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided in the college are good. Wi-Fi facility is available in both campus and hostel. Classrooms are good, and the library is peaceful with good collections of books available. Sports and games facilities are available. Food provided in the hostel is average, but the canteen offers good food. Hostel rooms in the college are good.
Faculty: Teachers in the college were helpful in solving every problem that we faced. They were well-qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching skills are very good, and they are friendly. The faculty to student ratio was 1:10. The college provides industry exposure, and most of the carpet industries are located nearby our college.
Other: The college conducts a lot of events like fests, cultural programmes, freshers fair, etc.

Textile view from the society.
Placements: Here placement is very good. From the opening of college the placement breaks its own previous record every year 100% placement for last 6 consecutive year it has been. Many student also prepare for GATE and other competitive exams like SSC civil services and they pursue either higher education or take the job.
Infrastructure: Hostel are good with the availability of all basic facilities including sanitary bathrooms. Side touching mess service. College canteen available and spacious rooms with the cupboard. Campus with Wi-Fi facilities somewhere and lush green area. Small playground and beside the road situated.
Faculty: Course taught here has uniqueness in itself. Deep knowledge of carpet and textile is given with the outstanding faculty members. Various newly developed machines are employed help in live demo of what taught in theory. Simply it has been very interesting to be textile scholar.
Other: Wi-Fi lush green campus.
