College has really good atmosphere.
Placements: Placements are below average and decreasing rapidly. The highest salary package offered this year is 13 LPA. Less students are placed this year. Top roles offered in my course are not exactly known, but I think they are very low.
Infrastructure: IIITDM Kurnool offers excellent facilities for both sports and academics, providing a well-rounded experience for its students. Sports infrastructure includes a variety of facilities. Wi-Fi is also available anywhere on campus, in labs, hostels, and classrooms.
Faculty: Faculty at IIITDM Kurnool is one of its standout features, with a dedicated team of professors who bring a wealth of academic knowledge and industry experience. Faculty members are approachable, and many actively engage in research, offering students opportunities to collaborate on cutting-edge projects. Overall best college for Ph.D. in computer science and engineering course.
Placements: The highest package offered was 27 LPA, and the placement cell put the maximum number of students. The top recruiters include ECIL, IOCL, and NFL. The course integrates programming expertise and computer languages with mathematics. The most popular positions in our program are Software Developer and Cybersecurity Analyst. Top corporations come here, but the placement cell is a bit rigid. 70% of students get internships.
Infrastructure: The college has good facilities for students. It has computer labs, libraries, e-learning classrooms, and EduCom learning sessions. It also has numerous hostels with room accommodations and a huge mess with region-specific cuisine items. There are 4-5 canteens and a large playground for sports such as cricket, football, basketball, hockey, volleyball, throwball, and NSS/NCC.
Faculty: The course is very interesting and challenging. The course material is current, and the teachers are very helpful. They really care about our performance, grades, and project work. The semester examinations are moderately difficult, but they are well-designed to prepare us for the workplace. The pass rate is 70 per cent, and you can usually finish studying a month before the tests.

Good infrastructure of college but lacking in placements and unwanted rules.
Placements: Fifty-nine percent of students were placed. The highest package was 32.5 lacs per annum. The average package was 8.2 lacs per annum. Top recruiters are Capgemini, Flipkart, Google, Mahindra and Mahindra, Infosys, TCS, Deltx, Zydus, GATE Corpus, Solar, Maq Software, and Goal 10x.
Infrastructure: A central library is available. Many labs are available, like an artificial intelligence and data science lab, an Internet of Things lab, a drones lab, a data network lab, ECE labs, and a central workshop. The food was the worst in the college. There are good medical facilities and average sports facilities. Wi-Fi is available in classrooms also.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. Courses are okay but need improvement in some things. Maximum students will pass the semester; there is no need to worry. The process is that there is one midterm exam and one semester exam. The semester exam is worth 50 marks, the midterm 30, and internals 20.
Other: Presently, there is demand in artificial intelligence and data science, so I opted for this course. The rules are the worst in the college, as it has the environment of an intermediate college; it doesn't feel like a B.Tech college. Fests are going on nowadays. Scholarship facilities are also available.

Brief Review of IIITDM Kurnool.
Placements: In the 2024-25 session, approximately 160 students have registered for placements, and as of November 2024, only 6 have been placed and 2 have secured internships. The pay is not very high. The highest package offered so far is 13.5 LPA by a software company. Overall, the placement scenario is not very good this year.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi access across the whole campus (except the hostel), with ethernet internet for the hostels. Classrooms are good and not very far from the hostels after the first year. First-years have to travel a greater distance from the hostels. The library has a good collection of books on diverse topics; it's open from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with plans to increase the hours in the future.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Some are not very good, but most are helpful and have great command of their topics of study. The course is relevant to upcoming industry standards. Semester exams are not very tough; one can easily clear all subjects by studying at least 2 weeks before end-semester exams and 1 week before mid-semester exams. The teachers' resources can give you an advantage in exams.
Other: If this college can improve its placements, that would be great. The number of students in any batch is not very high; there are approximately 300 students per batch, which means less crowding. This college is fairly new, so we can hope for improvement in social events with time.

Yes, candidates can defenitely get admission at IIITDM Kancheepuram BTech course. The cutoff 2024 has been concluded with the release of Round 7. As per the Round 7 data, 50000 rank is more than enough to get into IIITDM Kancheepuram, where the cutoff ranged from 21841 to 60775 for the General AI
