Placements: Approximately 70-90% of students are placed. Packages range from 3-50 LPA, with an average of 5-12 LPA. Recruiters include Qualcomm, Intel, TCS, Bosch, and ISRO. Internships are secured by roughly 50-80% of students, in firms like DRDO, TI, and Cisco. Top roles are Engineer and Analyst. Placements are good not only for ECE but also for CSE, AIDS, and Mech.

Infrastructure: IIITDM Kurnool has labs (AI, IoT), air-conditioned classrooms, and a library. Hostels have 24/7 security, gyms, and a mess with average food. Medical care includes on-campus doctors, insurance, and an ambulance. Limited outdoor sports facilities are available, like football and cricket.

Satisfied with college but not with placements.

Placements: The percentage of students placed is around 70 percent. The highest package is 28 Lacs, the average package is around 10 Lacs, and the lowest package is 3.6 Lacs. Top recruiting companies for my course are Amazon, Flipkart, Wipro, and Deloitte. Around 55% of students got internships from my course, with companies such as Legato, TCS, Edureka, Jio, etc. The top role offered for my course is AI Engineer.

Infrastructure: The college provides Wi-Fi facilities in labs, classrooms, seminar halls, and in the hostel. An ethernet facility is also provided. The library facility of the college is satisfying, and all the books required for the course are available in the library. Classrooms are good for second-year and onward, but for first-year students are not good. In the hostel, two persons get a room. The quality of hostel food is decent, and all the food options are also available in the canteen. The college has its own medical facilities and an ambulance for emergency situations. The college provides all the major games except for a cricket ground.

Faculty: All the teachers are well-qualified, and they have completed their Ph.D. from top institutes like NIT and IIT. Teaching quality is satisfying. My course curriculum is relevant and updated over the years as per requirement. Yes, it makes students industry-ready. The college offers relative grading, and semester exams are not very tough. The pass percentage is around ninety percent.

Other: I chose this course because I am interested in automation and also because AI is a trending field. The best thing about my course is they start teaching about artificial intelligence in the first year instead of just focusing on mathematics. The annual fest of the college is Solasta, which is good, and the college also organizes several events. The only problem that arises during the event is the language issue. The college has a problem regarding the mobile tower. The college also offers various scholarship schemes, which are mainly for OBC, SC, and ST categories.

Placements: Placements are below average and decreasing rapidly. The highest salary package offered this year is 13 LPA. Less students are placed this year. Top roles offered in my course are not exactly known, but I think they are very low.

Infrastructure: IIITDM Kurnool offers excellent facilities for both sports and academics, providing a well-rounded experience for its students. Sports infrastructure includes a variety of facilities. Wi-Fi is also available anywhere on campus, in labs, hostels, and classrooms.

Brief Review of IIITDM Kurnool.

Placements: In the 2024-25 session, approximately 160 students have registered for placements, and as of November 2024, only 6 have been placed and 2 have secured internships. The pay is not very high. The highest package offered so far is 13.5 LPA by a software company. Overall, the placement scenario is not very good this year.

Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi access across the whole campus (except the hostel), with ethernet internet for the hostels. Classrooms are good and not very far from the hostels after the first year. First-years have to travel a greater distance from the hostels. The library has a good collection of books on diverse topics; it's open from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with plans to increase the hours in the future.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Some are not very good, but most are helpful and have great command of their topics of study. The course is relevant to upcoming industry standards. Semester exams are not very tough; one can easily clear all subjects by studying at least 2 weeks before end-semester exams and 1 week before mid-semester exams. The teachers' resources can give you an advantage in exams.

Other: If this college can improve its placements, that would be great. The number of students in any batch is not very high; there are approximately 300 students per batch, which means less crowding. This college is fairly new, so we can hope for improvement in social events with time.
