IIITDM Kurnool MTech curriculum is divided into semester-pattern. During the three-year duration, students are required to study various courses including both theoretical and practical subjects. Apart from this, students are also required to complete a dissertation and one Online Skill Development Course from NPTEL. For both of these works, students get 15 credits each.

Candidates should have minimum 60% marks (or CGPA 6.5 on a 10-point scale) for Gen/EWS/OBC-NCL whereas 55% marks (or CGPA 6.0 on a 10-point scale) for SC/ST/PwD in the B.Tech/B.E degree aggregate of all semesters/years.

As per the IITDM MTech cutoff 2024, MTech in Robotics and Automation stood as the most competitive exam. The last round GATE score for this course stood at 359. It was also observed that MTech in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science and MTech in Drones and IoT stood as the least competitive branches of all with a closing score of 372.

The modes of IIIT Kurnool admission 2024 are online and offline. Admission to various courses at IIITDM Kurnool is based on entrance exams and merit. At the UG level, the college offers a four-year BTech in four specialisations. Admission to the BTech programme is based on JEE MAin scores. The aspiring candidates need a minimum of 75% in class 12 to be eligible for the BTech programme. At the PG level, the college offers two-year M.Tech in three specialisations. The IIIT Kurnool also offers Ph.D. courses to students.

The candidates who qualify for the necessary entrance exams join IIITDM, Kurnool, through the counseling process—JoSAA for BTech and CCMT for MTech—and seats are provided according to the exam scores obtained, preferences of candidates, and their availability in the seats. When it comes to counseling, candidates will need to fill in the preferred courses along with the institution. Once a candidate has been seated, they will have to confirm their admission by paying the necessary fees required within the given time window.
