IISWBM MBA Admission 2024: Applications, Eligibility, Entrance exam and Cutoffs

Admission to the postgraduate level course is entrance-based. Candidates need a valid score of CAT/MAT/CMAT/JEMAT/GMAT/GATE/ATMA. The shortlisted students are then called for group discussion and personal interviews (GDPI). A final selection list is then released of the students eligible for admission.

The application process is carried out in both online and offline modes. Candidates can either apply by visiting the official website or collect the form and brochure from the reception against a cash payment of INR 1,500.

IISWBM is one of the top IIMs. The college is located in Kolkata. For taking admission to the college, one needs to clear CAT and after the results, one can apply at the college. The college will contact after the result of the CAT Exam and the student will get admission based on the merit list of the college. After clearing the exam the student goes for a personal Interview round, and after the selection in the personal Interview round, student will become eligible to take admission and can pay the fees of the course to secure the seat.

MAT 2024 registration for August is over. The next phase of exams will be held in December 2024. The schedule of of MAT 2024 registration for December phase has started at the AIMA, official website. Candidates who plan to appear for the MAT exam this year can apply for any phase of the as per their preparation and convenience. The MAT PBT, CBT and IBT form submission deadline of each session is different. Each MAT session will also be held on a different date. The MAT application fee is same for all exam modes and all exam phases. For each session candidates have to pay INR 2,100 as application fee. Candidates can appear for more than one session, however they will have to pay the fee per session.

The CAT exam is always conducted on the last Sunday of November every year so the CAT 2024 exam is expected to be conducted on Nov 24, 2024. Official announcement of the CAT 2024 exam date will be made by the convening IIM on Jul 30, 2024. The announcement will be made at the iimcat.ac.in website as well as in all the national dailies across India. We at Shiksha also notify the aspirants through our communication channels. Registrations cum application process for CAT 2024 will begin from the first week of August and end in the third week of September 2024.

Yes, IISWBM accepts CAT scores for admission to its MBA courses. Interested candidtes need to apply for the IISWBM MBA through its official website. The final admission to the MBA course is subjected to the performance of the candidate in CAT and the GDPI round.

It depends on your Category. There are high chances to get admission to the college with a score of 75 as according to the cutoff 73 was the latest cutoff for the general category. To gain admission to the college, one must first pass the CAT, and then apply to the college. The college will connect with the students after the results of the CAT Exam, and the students will be admitted based on the college's merit list. The last Year Cutoff is around 52 percentile in CAT Examination and it is overall and last round cutoff rank for this college and MBA course . But we should be aware that the cutoff will change every year by year and college by college and branch by branch. So we should not be blindly trust the last year cutoffs for our admission because it can be shigher or lower in the upcoming years. So we should try to score high marks or percentile for securing seat in any of your dream college. We should work hard for achieving the seat in our dream college.
