IISWBM stands first among the other B-Schools in India.

Placements: MBA (Day), which is the flagship course, offers pretty decent placements. There is a very active placement cell which involves both students and faculty members to look after the placements. The flagship course is worth the money because the ROI is met for a majority of the students. The average package offered was around 5 LPA to 5.5 LPA. In 2018, all the students who all met the college placement criteria, as well as the company placement criteria, have got placed. Amazon was the highest recru...

Placements are relatively good, but the infrastructure is poor.

Placements: Placements in the college are relatively good. Almost 95% of students get placed. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA. The average salary package offered was 6.40 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 5 LPA. Mostly, roles of management trainee are offered. All the students got an internship from the college, but most of the internships are without stipend. The college has an efficient placement cell.

The college, fee and placements are average.

Placements: Placements percentage of the college is very good, but the number of companies visiting the college are average. Approximately, 95% of the students in both 2017 and 2016 batches were placed. The highest salary package offered may vary between 8 LPA to 15 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was around 4 LPA. Companies like ICICI Bank, IMRB, PWC, Tata Capital, TCS, DHL, Dabur, ITC, Mahindra and ICRA, etc., visited the college for placements. Roles like management trainee, relationship manag...

The college has decent placements. The course curriculum can be improved further.

Placements: The college provides decent placements and good ROI. The average salary package offered for marketing is 6 LPA, and for finance is 5.5 LPA. HR placements are decent. The highest salary package offered last year in HR branch was 12 LPA. Common recruiters like ICICI Bank, ITC, Marico, IMRB, HSBC, Nielsen, Khadims, Amazon, etc., visited our campus for placements. Summer Internships were provided to all students. Almost 90% of the students were placed both for our batch and as well as from our senio...

IISWBM, at a glance. The infrastructure, placements for the students. Faculty and their teaching.

Placements: As I am doing the evening courses, there is no placements assistance from the college. However, it should be there as they take in a lot of freshers at the time of admission. On the other hand, as I myself am a student from the evening batch, they didn't even provide me with an internship. Moreover, when I went with an internship opportunity, where they just had to give me a NOC, and they even denied that.

A good investment. Batch of 2019 will have average placements and facilities.

Placements: The placements offered are good, no doubt. Considering your investment, you get a good return. The average package offered is about 6 lacs per annum. More than 60% of the 2018 batch students have been placed already. The companies like Dabur, Khadims, Capital First, IMRB, Hyundai and Marico visit here for the placements.

Dissatisfied with the placements in energy management for the batch of 2016-17.

Placements: I was in the 2015-17 batch of energy management. The Placements of on this year was not good enough. Out of 17 students, 12 were placed from the college. The package was not as masters level. The college said that highest package is 6.4 LPA, but in-hand the student gets only 26,000/- approximately. I also got 2 LPA package from job offered through the college placement. In 2014-16 batch, placement was a little bit good when compare to our batch because of low batch strength. Overall, I would rate IISWBM to be good with the slight improvements in the infrastructure.

Placements: The placements on the campus are relatively good. On an average, 90% of the students get placed every year with an average package of 6-6.5 LPA. Many of the reputed MNCs come for the placements every year. ROI is good when you are comparing with an investment of 6 lakhs for the course.

MBA from IISWBM gives a good ROI and provides a satisfactory platform to start one's career.

Placements: We have a satisfactory placement record so far and we hope to attain 100% placements by the end of the session. The highest package as of now is 12lakh per annum. There is 100% summer internship program provided and complete guidance for placements and SIP are received.

It has decent placements for the freshers. Faculty needs to be improved. Overall, a decent college.

Placements: Around 90 % of the students were placed from our batch as well as our senior batch. The average salary offered was between 5-5.5 lpa for the last 3 -4 years. The highest salary during my batch was 8 lpa, offered by HUL while the lowest was 3 lpa offered by Pantaloons. The major recruiters of our college have always been IMRB, TCS and ICICI Bank. The IMRB and Nielsen offered market research post. Most of the companies that came here offered the same post in Banks and financial institute like ICIC...

IISWBM, a short journey with everlasting memory.

Placements: To be very honest, the ROI ratio is on the higher side if you want to pursue a course in retail management from IISWBM. It is one of the most esteemed B-schools in India, and the retail management course offers you a healthy package in a reputed company. 100% students got their internship in the companies, like Puma, Pantaloons, Max, Balmer Lawrie, Titan, Future Group and many more. And, if you say about the final placements, we had the offer from Decathlon, Puma, Future Group, Pantaloons, Tanis...

Good placements and a lovely environment.

Placements: I am a pass out from this college. I secured my placement this June. Companies like HCL, Accenture, Hero, HDFC, etc. came for recruitment. The average package offered is close to 5 lakh. It has improved from the previous year. The internship process was good and the companies providing stipends of around 20000 also came to hire interns.

Save IISWBM from becoming a tier-3 institute.

Placements: The placements are satisfactory with the average salary being between 5-5.5 lakhs per annum. The placement cell is very bad, and only the students in the committee try to work for the others. The faculty members are least bothered and a lot needs to improved, starting from making the students skilled.

Dissatisfied with the placement cell.

Placements: The placements were ok. The placement officer was pathetic but overall companies were positive in their approach. The placement cell was partial but good companies visited the campus such as Philips, etc. The placement officers are highly partial with the opportunities that come.

Top B-School in eastern India with good placements.

Placements: The placements you will have here are awesome. I got placed in puma Sports India Pvt Ltd as a management trainee of the 2012-14 batch. Apart from that, there are various reputed companies who do visit to this campus. It is a really good college with a wide array of good faculties. The average salary is 25,000 per month if you have been campus placed.

It's the oldest Management College, in entire India, which is having a 60 years+ legacy of yielding some of the nation's finest graduates. Under the umbrella of Calcutta University, it's itself a brand which has not been in focus since many years due to lack of advertisement. Brand names like ITC, Nestle, Coke, ACC, Land Mark group, TCI, Exide etc. are long associated with this alma mater.
