The college is no doubt one of the best in Kolkata, with Good return on Investment as one of the prime reasons. Faculty being good and equally quality placement is provided to the students. Though the Infrastructure is not up to the mark as compared to some of the other premiere B-schools, but considering it to be the oldest B-school in India, the institution has great foundation base and a wealth of knowledge to impart to the students and along with that a huge database of Alumni helps in earni...

One of the premier institute which offers course on logistics management as a degree course under the Calcutta University, The campus life is good with free Wi-Fi facility, AC classroom, well equipped library and excellent faculty. But placements are not so good as compared to other institutions. It is the oldest management college in India and I am lucky to be a part of it.

IISWBM may not provide you the tag value of IIM or XLRI but when talking about Public Systems Management it really has a name for itself. The campus is always buzzing with events and seminars it's totally up to you to decide how much you want to get involved. If you have realistic view about your own capabilities then the placement seems to be quite appropriate. The faculty of MPSM may get on your nerves at times and they might seem a bit too theory oriented but that's just the way of Calcutta ...

If your budget is low then it is a good college. Faculties are awesome. Placement is quite good.

Placements: This year placement is not so good due to slow down of economy but previous years placement was good. A student got 9 lacs per annum which is the highest package and the lowest package is 3.80 lacs per annum. Lot of reputed organisation visit this institute like PWC, TCS, Nestle, Hindel & Co, KPMG.
