Placements: At the time of completion of engineering, only 2 or 3 students were placed, and the rest of them had to attend pool campus and do C-DAC courses. Only 10 or 11 students were placed from the senior batch also. Overall, the placements were not that good even after paying a fee of 1 lac per annum. The college did not invite many companies for placements.
Placements: No placements are available. There is a placement cell, but no student is placed. The college conducted many activities for students, but placements are not available for the mechanical engineering department. For MBA and mechanical sandwich, the placement opportunities are good.
Placements: The placements are not to the expectations as they say while taking admissions. There are no on-campus placement drives organised, and you are sent to the off-campus drives for placements. They put no efforts to place students. They take help from the consultancy where the students from their classes or the consultancy are preferred the most.
Placements: Placements for computer are better, and for other branches are like, okay types. You make your place though, cause Placement cell does its work. If you have better marks and have one more option to choose, go for that option. You also need better English to get placed.
Placements: Compared to the previous four years, the placements on the campus are better at present. Most of the students got placed with satisfying salary packages. The companies like Xoriant and Amazon visited the campus to conduct placements. If you're a worthy student, then the placements on the campus are not at all a problem for getting placed, and that's what we believe.
Placements: The placements were good. Many students got placed with an average package. The placements are much better even if the students have an average academic record. Placing huge crowd with an average academics is always not an easy job. But still, we have given much more opportunities. Many companies visited this year.
Placements: Our college is good compared to other colleges in SPPU for placements. Mr Shashi sir is the head of the placement cell and their team. The team members are our college students. They all work hard for placements. In next few years, our college will be on the top list and becomes the most favourable college in industry.
Placements: Placements are good. Last year batch placement was good.70% of student got placed. The highest package was 25 Lacs. Placement cell faculty is good they council us for placement.50 to 60% of students got Internship. Placement is good but companies are not reputed. Companies like cybage, mahindra etc. Comes to college.
Placements: The placements are good, but the only thing to be improved is the students focus on engineering to build their future which is a great deal. The college placement facility tries to organise students' internal placement activities and makes them a great engineer in a way that they can crack all placement drives.
Placements: The placements in the college are above average. I am a placement team coordinator, who handles all the drives conducted by the college. I speak with multiple clients and also find the companies to invite them to our campus. So broadly speaking, our college gets nearly 50 companies per academic year for the recruitment. The rate of students getting placed completely depends on the talent and ability of the student. Most of the students are unaware of the latest technologies in the market and als...
Placements: They have a good placement team, but right now, according to market conditions, they were helpless, but they are working hard on it. They take good practice sessions, seminars, aptitude training, as well as GD. For personality development, there is a new team.
Placements: The placement cell is good. Lots of companies visit the college for placements. At least 30-40% of students from each field are placed. The average package is 4.5 LPA. The companies like Finolex, Neyamo, Tata have visited the college. The roles offered to mechanical students are of a design engineer, production line.
Placements: TNP tried, but they need to do something more. Nowadays, there are many candidates, who are passing out every year, but the jobs are not sufficient. The college needs to start training in the second year, means the candidate can get ready for the placements in his final year. The college tries to bring the technical jobs organisation.
Placements: Indira College of Engineering & Management guarantees only those placements to the students who have aggregate 60% score in all the engineering semesters. For those students who have scored less percentage, the placement is rare. The students who have scored more than 60% in all the semesters will have 90% chance of getting placed. The average salary offered was 2.5 lakhs per annum. The roles offered were a buiseness analyst, software engineer only and some of the roles for marketing too.
Placements: I got campus placement, but only a few of us only got this opportunity. Placement conditions are not good for any of the branch, and even worst for E&TC, mechanical departments. Only a few companies visited campus and offered very low packages. You need to be self-active to get a placement with some more efforts. The placement cell is less active in terms of all activities.
Placements: Placement is moderate. We get companies, but after a few placements, they provide jobs like call centre jobs. So, placement is moderate. The college placement team is working hard to give placement to the students, and also they encourage and support students for placement. Sometimes, they recommend a good student to the companies, which is good. In my batch, 30 to 35 students got placed in our department, and in the last batch, 40 students got placed.
Placements: The placements are not that great, but I assure that one can get the good opportunity for the placement. At my placement duration, 4-5 core company like Force Motors, Hyundai Heavy Construction Equipment, GKN Sinter Metals, Sanmar, Alliance Tire Group, etc., visited the campus. The placement department provides the opportunity for the mechanical students in the non-technical field. There were about 3-4 non-technical organisations.
Placements: The placements were pretty bad since we did not get many core mechanical companies for the placements except for two or three. The companies which visited were Neilsoft, ATG Tyres, JK Tyres, Everest, Pubmatic, Vanderlande, one for the merchant navy out of which only 2 recruited for the technical background rest everyone for either sales or other profile which were commercial. The package was offered up to 3.0 to 3.2 LPA. The companies with technical profile and for non-technical offered above 4....
Placements: The placement is what we call not so good or not bad either. If you are working hard, you will surely get good placement. I am a first-year student so I don't know about the placement much. But one of my seniors got 3 job offers in which the highest offered was 15 lakhs. Companies are Tata Consultancy Services, Cybage, Mphasis and much more.
Placements: The placement faculty is fabulous. There is a wide range of packages, with the highest being 26 lacs per annum. The placement percentage of the computers department is quite high- around 80 to 90 percent. The average package is 4.5 lacs per annum and the lowest is 2.5 lacs per annum. The placement faculty plays an important role in guiding the students to the right path.
