Not satisfied with the faculty.

Placements: There are a few core placements. By few, I mean 2-3 for our batch like Vedanta, JK Paper, Pixlar, but there were 3-4 IT companies which were recruiting like TCS, Tech Mahendra, Process Map, etc. The highest salary was 8.5 LPA, and the average salary was 3.5 lacs per annum. There is 30%-40% of the campus placements. The placement cell was not up to the mark.

Dissatisfied because of the placement issues. Average infrastructure.

Placements: From the year 2014, the placements here is really poor. In our batch, 25% of the students get placed. The only software company that comes here is the TCS. The package is average with 3.5 LPA in 2017, Vedanta limited came with the package of 7 LPA. The problem is for the core branches. Here, 95% of the students are from the electronics and computer science branches and get placed in various small software companies. This college doesn't provide any internship programs. So, there is no question o...

IGIT, a college with very nice environment.

Placements: The placement in this college is good. Some students of our batch got placed in TCS, Vedanta, Wipro, etc. Students are doing well in the campus placements in our college, but we can further improvise the placement in our college. I will rate our college 7 out of 10 for placement.

Good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placements were decent in 2015 batch and also in 2014 batch. All due to responsible student secretary and TnP cell who took toil to invite the companies. The companies like TCS, JSL, IOTL, PPL, Bhusan Steel, Vedanta ltd, etc. visited the campus. The placements depend on how many companies are invited and how much work has been done to bring them in. Forming a committee an appointing the students from all the branches to monitor the process from the start of the prefinal year is the best way ...

I am satisfied with college faculty and infrastructure but very much disappointed wit the placement.

Placements: Placement is quite good but doesn't expect for high packaged placements. If you are a core branch student, then only you can expect higher package or else forget about any placements on the campus. Our seniors were quite lucky to have the on-campus placements, but in our batch, there is a lot of difference.

There was a time when seniors were getting good placements but not now

Placements: This year, the result of the placement is not published yet but many reputed companies came for interviews. Our seniors also did well in that. Companies like TCS, Patni Computers, Infosys and Larsen & Toubro Ltd. come for placements. An average Of 80-90% students got placed. The minimum salary package is about 2.5 lakhs per annum and the maximum is about 4.5 to 6 lakhs.

Really good infrastructure, poor placements, experienced faculty except some

Placements: The placement cell was paralyzed at our time. Only TCS was the mass recruiter which visited the campus. Vedant took a few students with a good CTC. Later on, BSPL visited and recruited about 30 students with a very low CTC. There was a very low scope of off-campus and the authority doesn't take responsibility for recruitment. The highest package was 5.5 LPA and the average salary was 3 LPA.

Placements: The placements were good for our seniors. Minimum 25% of the students were placed in different companies. The highest and the lowest salaries offered were 15,000 and 10,000. The average salary offered was 10,000. There are different types of companies like TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, L&T, etc. which visited the campus. Not fit for placements but academic level is very good.

Placements: Placements were fine 3 years ago but due to changes in corporate policies, college placements are down. IT firms are the only recruiters on campus. 70% of our batch was placed. Highest salary was 4.2 lakhs offered by PPL. There is no strict internship policy followed.

A beautiful learning atmosphere in IGIT.

Placements: Tata Consultancy Services. Minimum 50% students were placed in my batch. Vedanta, River Side, Jindal companies visited the campus. In senior batch also, same companies came and recruited most of the students. The highest placement was in Tata Consultancy Services. The highest stipend was 60000 and the lowest was 10000. The highest salary offered was 5 lakhs and the lowest was 2.5 lakhs.

Review: I.G.I.T Sarang Campus tour.

Placements: Basically, the college is located in the village area, so due to lack of communication and transportation, the placement campus opportunity is less. The only mass recruiter of the college is TCS. The other campuses are Vedanta and Bhushan Steel Limited. In placement category, the college has a poor performance.

The college provides good learning in all the domains of engineering. The faculty has a good knowledge of their subjects. The placements are also good but the infrastructure can improve. The labs can also have new equipments and devices. There can be latest equipments so that the students can gain practical knowledge about various industry related work.

It is a college with best civil engineering faculty and located in a serene environment. The college is a bit far away from the city, but that’s the most exciting part where you can enjoy your engineering life with your friends. Most of the faculty members live within the college. The job placements are not so bad either, last year 200/300 students got placed in companies like TCS, CAPGEMINI, NOVEL Software, ARVEE , etc. and the college holds national and international fest every year conducted ...

This is a good college, but I think students should go for a BTech after their mains, not a diploma.

Placements: Although this college is better for B.Tech. students, diploma students also get placements. 30–40% of students got placed this year in different companies. Some recruiting companies include Hindalco, Tata Power, JSW, JSL, etc. The highest package given by Hindalco is INR 3 LPA. The minimum package is INR 1.8–2.0 LPA.

A good College for campus placements

Placements: Good packages are offered here but in civil engineering, the number of placements is little bit less than in other branches. And the highest package is 4 LPA as far as I remember. Other branches like computers Science is a good branch where placements are extremely high for students.

I am not satisfied with it, but it is a good college.

Placements: Only 5-20 students from the civil batch got placed in the companies. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 15 LPA for the CSE and other branches. Ultra Tech is a top recruiting company that visited our college for the civil engineering placements. We got an internship in CTTC in Bhubaneswar, Ultra Tech, PWD, etc. About 95% of the students from our course got an internship.
