It’s a well-known college but lacks the spark which was there. It provides average placements, awesome weather and infrastructure. You should be focussed on getting things done by yourself. Don’t expect anything from college as they will bring the company, but if you are a mediocre student it won't be that much of a help.

The college has a good Environment. Because of easy lessons provided, understanding is clearer. No strict rules and strict regulations in my college. My college is creativity thinker. Heavy placement with high sports facility. Freedom medium strategy is above qualified teaching. Thank you,

It is good and I had a good time at the college. The faculty is good and I had a nice experience in the college. It has a good infrastructure with an auditorium and lab equipments and has good placement offers with many companies around. The surrounding is also pleasant with good weather conditions.

It is the best private college in West Bengal. It provides best opportunity for getting recruited by numerous eminent MNCs and other companies. Experienced faculties are there to provide help in academics as well as in personal issues. It has very strict rules about different academic works such as attendance, you have to attend all the classes. But it has its share of problems as well which I found out. Library looks really large but it contains mainly old, out of syllabus books and some import...

IEM is the best private engineering college in West Bengal.

Placements: The college is pretty much consistent in providing placements to students. They have maintained a record of 100% placements over the last two decades, and the students are grabbing multiple offers. This is one of the major factors making this institute the best private engineering college in Bengal.

Our college lays great emphasis on academics and curriculum. Regular classes are held which are great for students. Labs are also very good. The faculty is also very helpful and supporting. The environment of college is study oriented. The placement is almost 100% every year.

Our institution is very good. Here, the teachers are very supportive. They guide us very carefully in our practical classes. And friends are very helpful. Seniors provide us the right way to improve our confidence. That's why I am feeling confident now and I am sure that I will get a fine job since the placement of our institution is also marvellous.

It has ideal atmosphere for student who are much more career oriented. Students are assured with jobs if they fulfill all the criteria. The faculty members are very good as most of them are ex-professors of IITs, NITs and JU. They are very friendly and are always there to help the student. Drawback of the college is that it lacks in playground, canteens and some more few areas. But overall it’s a very good college.

The administration and teaching faculty is not good at all. They are not upto the mark, most of them have no experience, syllabus is outdated and the lab does not have any good equipment. Placement is little-bit good for computer engineering, IT and ECE with average package of Rs. 4 lakh or less. Other departments like EEE , Bio-Tech, Mechanical is nearly nil.

Institute of Engineering & Management [IEM] is the first private engineering college in west bengal and is considered to be the jewel of the east. Though it has a great academic and placement record but there is not much campus facilities. In college the students are bound to follow the strict rules and regulations of the college. Uniform is compulsory for each and every students. All the students must be well disciplined and punctual.

My college is not for those who take life casually. It is for those students who want to achieve something in life. They have their vision or rather are eager to learn new things. I many other colleges, campus is huge, different facilities are provided. But my college don’t have a huge campus. But we possesses something which none of the other engineering colleges in atleast Bengal have. All the Lab classes are taken up seriously and all the students are required to do all the practical lessons...

The college is very strict in terms of punctuality and discipline. You will feel you are once again back to school or something more than that. You will not have the so called "College life". In terms of studies it is good. The placement cell is very strong. Almost all of the student are placed. All in a nutshell, I can say that it’s the best Engineering college under West Bengal University.

Faculty is very good but the college is not able to give 100% placement which they claim. Marketing placement is good but not good for finance and human resource. Unnecessarily attendance pressure no matter what happens to you. But the teachers are friendly and always ready to help. They are supporting enough to help you.

The faculty of our college is very good.

Placements: 80 percent of our college students get placement. The rest of the students gets placement off campus. The students of our department are somehow less as the course is little bit more difficult than other streams. The chances of getting job is also high as less competition is there.

Great placements, and solid faculty.

Placements: In my course, about 90% of students were placed. The highest package offered was 18 LPA, the lowest 3 LPA, and the average was 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies included TCS, Infosys, and Wipro. Around 60% secured internships, with roles in development, data analytics, and consulting.

However, generally, around 80-90% of students get placed, with the highest packages reaching 20 LPA, and average around 8 LPA. Top companies often include Google, Microsoft, and Amazon. Internships typically SEE 70% participation, with roles in software development and data analysis.
