Absolutely satisfied because of faculty and good placements.

Placements: The placements in IEM are quite good. Students from IEM can get at least one job from the campus placement drives. IEM is growing very rapidly. Companies like Deloitte, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, and Infosys, etc., visit the campus for placements. Even special placement classes are also organised here.

It is a good college to build your character and career.

Placements: The college has a placement cell that trains the students. The placement rate of the college is excellent. Many reputed companies like L&T, TCS, Cognizant and Deloitte visited our college for placements. Faculty members who were handling placements were very supportive and taught us whatever required, from practising aptitude to technical round questions and mock interview. They made us practice everything and be familiar with the placement drives.

Overall, the college is really good as far as placements and industrial exposure are concerned.

Placements: Placements are the main highlight of our college. It's the parameter where the college stands out of the crowd when compared to other colleges. The college has a strong placement cell with 100% placement record with some major companies like Deloitte, TCS, SAP Labs, CTS, Concentrix, Accenture, etc., recruiting students. In my last 2 years of experience in this college, the numbers have gone even higher in terms of placements. Strong support is provided by the college in this regard. The highest ...

IEM has proved its uniqueness in the 30 years since it was established.

Placements: The placement cell of IEM is really appreciable and doing an impressive job. Most of the students get placed with decent salary packages. To know about the placement scenario of the college, I talked to some of the seniors currently studying in the 4th year and some passed out students, and they simply told me that IEM provides every facility for their students to get placed in MNCs and also provides equal chances for your higher studies and research-oriented international conferences.

Students who are really fond of studies can do their B.Tech, BBA or MBA from IEM.

Placements: Placements are provided mostly in IT companies. Few students who have good technical knowledge of their respective field got placed in good core companies. Every student appeared for GATE to get their desired job and fulfil their dreams. IEM is an open source platform for them.

Absolutely good for placements and education, but the campus life is below average.

Placements: The placement cell of this institute is very active and helpful if you maintain good relations with them. Mainly IT companies like TCS, CTS, Infosys, Wipro, IBM and Capgemini visit the college. The placement rate was decent (it is around 80% to 85%) this year. One girl was offered the highest package of 12 lacs per annum by Adobe. Not many students got internships from the college; you have to try on your own to get an internship. The placement cell has a good corporate relationship, so a large ...

Placements: Placements for CSE and IT branches are good with an average salary package of 5 LPA. Nearly 80% of the students in the college were placed. Placements for other branches are not very high. Students are offered average placements with not very high salary packages. But, the college has a good placement cell which takes care of your placements with high regards.

A good college if education is the one and only priority.

Placements: The placements in IEM Kolkata are quite good. As Bengal is a growing industry, at least now, it isn't as good as some other places like Bangalore. So, industry exposure isn't that good when compared to the south region. Students from IEM get at least one job from the campus placement. For CSE, IT, and ECE branches, there are almost 100% placements. For core branches, IEM is doing good rapidly. Placement opportunities for the mechanical department have seen some major improvements in recent years...

Placements: Placements for the students of marketing domain are good, whereas placements for the students of remaining specialisations are not up to that mark. Companies like PWC, Godrej, and Karvy etc., have visited our campus for placement drives. Majority of the roles offered were marketing oriented. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA.

A good college with proper infrastructure and helpful faculty.

Placements: Placements in IEM are always good and consistent for all the batches. Every student gets at least one job offer in MNCs. But like every other college, IEM also has the problem of not allowing the already placed students to sit for further placements.

Absolutely satisfied with the college. Placements are good.

Placements: Placements of the college are quite good, and companies like TCS, CTS, etc., visit the college for placements to recruit more than half of the students from ECE stream. This year, 2-3 students from EC branch got placed in TCS and R&D, which is quite a good remark. Every year, 2-3 EC students and some IT students get placed in Sankalp Semiconductors.

Students can have a decent college life with excellent placement record.

Placements: The college has a great track record of placements in the reputed companies like TCS, CTS, Infy, and Ericsson. Roles offered were primarily of software development trainee. Few mechanical students managed to bag core jobs, regular aptitude training is provided, and industry seminars happen regularly.

Placements: Placement were decent. Chances to get a job in core companies were less, as only one or two companies came and the intake was too less. Most of the students get one or more than one job mainly in IT sector. IT companies like CTS, Infy, Wipro are the major recruiters.
