IEM-A Pioneer Engineering Institute.

Placements: Much better than other engineering colleges. Major MNCs like TCS, CTS etc. Have recruited students from all branches and disciplines. Wonderful placement training and support. The faculty members of the placement department are very helpful and willing to guide you in whatever way possible.

Averagely satisfied with my collegy, faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: I'm studying in the second year, but the placement for my seniors is not too good as well as not bad, but average. I don't know about the lowest package, but the highest is 13.5 LPA and the average package offered is 4.5 LPA. Many companies like TCS, Sankalp, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant etc. come to the college for the placements. We have a placement cell in the college.

If job is important for you however it may be then you can choose this college.

Placements: Placement scenario is not that bad but if you are searching for jobs in core companies then it's not a good choice. But you will get enough opportunity to get selected in an IT firm like TCS, CTS, Wipro etc. So in short when other private colleges struggle to make jobs available for their students IEM will at least provide you a 22000 salary job.

Institute of engineering and management.

Placements: Placement was good. Almost everyone got placed in our batch with few getting multiple offers as well and all being a reputated MNC. Better to be in a CS or IT background. Has lots of opportunities and will get a chance to be into a product based companies as well if have good scores and are able to clear the apti and all. Overall have one of the best placements in West Bengal.

A review of Institute of Engineering and Management.

Placements: The placements of our senior batch are very good, and almost all of them are placed. The highest salary offered this year is 30 lacs per annum. There are a lot of well-known companies which visit our campus like TCS, CTS, Accenture, etc. Most of the students were offered the role of a software developer.

Very good placement record and faculty.

Placements: The placements of IEM is very good. Almost all the students get placed. CTS, TCS are the mass recruiters. Companies like Sankalp, Mahindra and Mahindra also recruit from IEM. Last year companies like Adobe and Samsung also came to IEM. The average salary offered to the students were 4 LPA and the highest was 14-15 LPA. The placement department is very helpful and encourages the students to take up good internships. The placement department also conducts a lot of test to make the students prepare...

Good placements in 2017-18. Above average infrastructure, satisfying faculty, and good discipline.

Placements: As I am in 2nd year of my 3-year course now, I will give the details of my senior batch's placements. About 60% of the overall students in the batch had opted for placements. 41% of those got placed in different companies. 5%of them have got multiple job offers. The salary offers ranged from Rs. 15,000 (as the lowest) to Rs. 22,000 (as the highest) and the average being Rs. 18,000. Companies like Indigo Airlines, Amazon, and some IT companies had visited. Indigo offered roles such as ground staf...

The Institute You want to Study at.

Placements: I am studying in this college for 2 years now. According to Seniors and faculty members Our Institute gets medium placement. No major companies take students from this institute. Mainly TCS Wipro CTS come to college every year to offer jobs. Every year around 80 percent successful placement students get.

Good option to have in Kolkata.

Placements: The placement record has been decent. Over the years IEM has boasted of providing 100% placements to its students. The average package continues to be in the bracket of 3.15 to 3.5 Lacs per annum with an odd package of 6 or 7 LPA here and there. Overall, if you are deserving you will land yourself a decent job.

Good Education, Good Jobs.

Placements: If you are an average student and think that you will not crack a job in first attempt then you should come join IEM. You will get a lot of opportunities to sit for different companies with tech giants like SAP LABS, ACCENTURE, DELOITTE. Your career will get exponential growth if you crack a job in these companies.

A college that can change your future.

Placements: This college has a good placement opportunity. Many students got 6 jobs. Some got 5 job offers. Many students got 3 job offers. Most of the students are placed under a reputed MNC. The college has good faculty which guided us to our destination of getting jobs. The faculty members are the best and very friendly.

Good Education, Good Jobs.

Placements: The college gives you a lot of opportunities to appear for different companies. It is totally dependent on your abilities how you present yourself in front of the interviewer. Comparing the placement of BCA department of IEM with other colleges will not be a good option as IEM always stands out.

Good knowledge, good leadership skills, good jobs.

Placements: I think its the best private college which offer the 100% placements. It is also famous for its placements in all over West Bengal. Many alumni students are working on Amazon, PWC etc. The package offered to all students are standard. The average package is 3 Lacs per annum.

Placement is good but don't expect must from campus infrastructure.

Placements: Placement is pretty good, the highest package is approax 40lac and the lowest 2.85 lacs, most students gets 3.45 lac package. Most of us got placed including me. This year 1-2 company black list our college because none join the company. As I have told, placement of senior is also good. And yes there is placement cell in our college and teachers there is so cooperative.

Go for it if you want to pursue a better career.

Placements: For CSE/IT. There is 95% placement. Rest 5% are under qualified. Average package of 4lakhs/annum. Huge scope to learn new things, events, competitions, debates, and technology. Any one can rely on his/her career as it provides lists of companies for students. In my batch Almost every one got a job of around 3.5 average. The highest package was 40lakhs for 3 girls in Adobe. The lowest was 3.36 by TCS.

Satisfied because of its location, placement and faculty.

Placements: The main advantage of iem is its placement. The placement records are out of the charts. Iem provide 100% placement as it located in mid of the IT hub. The major recruiters are tcs, cognizant etc. As I know, 350 of my seniors are placed in TCS as it has tie up with iem and has MOU. The lowest package was 3.15 by tcs. The highest package was 1 crores that is amazon but that was not campus placement that was off campus.

Placements: CSE, It, Me, get a good placement in this college. CSE has got around 4 Lacs package on average. Overall placement is good. There is only one thing in this college is the discipline you have to follow. CSE and it branch student have got 3 to 4 Lacs an average.

The college has a satisfactory percentage of placement and the faculty members are really helpful.

Placements: IEM is better than any other private engineering colleges in terms of placement. The number of core companies coming for recruitment is very few and they only recruit 5-6 students. IT companies mostly come for recruitment as mass recruiters. The college provides pre placement training to the students to make the students aware of the standard of questions they will be facing during the interviews. In the past years placement percentage was much higher, but from the current year IEM and Uem will ...

After 4 years in this college, this is what I feel about the poor infrastructure and good placement.

Placements: IEM boasts itself of 100% placements. This is partially true. CSE, IT and ECE branches get nearly 90% placement. But, in mechanical, electrical it is not good. Hardly 2-3 core companies like (Sankalp semiconductors, SAP) visit here. Most of the students are placed in TCS, CTS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, TECH MAHINDRA, CAPGEMINI, PWC, NRI FINTECH etc. Few companies like ARW offers a high package of 10 LPA. The placements here are much better than any other private college.
