The college is bad to spend your 4 years of life as it has the bad infrastructure and no placement.
Placements: The placements are not good. When I am in the college, a few companies came such as Infosys, L&T, Thyrocare, and HCl. The highest package was 5 LPA I guess, and the lowest was 1.6 LPA. The college is bad in the placements. The college has the placement cell. They try hard to call the companies to visit the college, but still, it's of use. The students, who are the members of the placement cell got placed, which I came to know later. The roles they offer were testing engineer, etc. I am not satisfied with the placement cell. None got the internship from the college. Around, 3-4% of the students got placed, who had joined. The computer science and IT companies have mainly visited the college. There are no companies for civil engineering, mechanical engineering, and instrumentation engineering.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good, and I don't like it personally. There is no centralised A/C in the college, and even computer labs are also without A/C. The canteen is not good. There is no Wi-Fi facility. No celebrity came to the college for any function till I am there in the college. The hostel rooms are okay, but the mess food is bad. I didn't face any issue related to the infrastructure. Every year, they conduct the annual sports day. The classrooms are not digital as they don't have access as I already told, which is a must in Rajasthan. The library is good. The canteen is very small.
Faculty: The faculty members are bad. Only one or two are well-knowledgeable and highly qualified. Many of them are the seniors, who are doing M.Tech from the same college and teaching us. They are helpful. The teaching method is not good. Green board is present on which they use chalks to write. Many faculty members are seniors, so they don't know how to give a lecture. The course curriculum is useful. We don't get any industrial exposure.

Other: IET is the first private engineering college in Rajasthan and has the position among the top ten colleges in Rajasthan. The faculty is good as compared to the other colleges. This college has good contacts with the industry leaders like TCS, L&T and with the BPO sector, who visit our college every year for the placements.
