College is not good for future.

It is an average college.

Placements: Many students got placed in many companies. Almost 60% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Adobe, HCL, and TCS. Many students got internships from our course.

I regret getting in IET even my school life was better than this.

Placements: The placements in Chemical Engineering are very poor in institute of engineering and technology. Only three people were placed Last year that too with starting package as low as 5-6 LPA. Companies or rather mass recruiters do visit for students of CS and IT stream but for CE, ME and Che the scenario is not so pleasurable. One should not even hope to get a job by campus placement here instead prepare for GATE CAT and other higher studies. Also, the College doesn't arrange for internships for the ...

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty.

Placements: Placements in our college are not good, and the companies visited to hire only B.Tech students but not MBA students. They don't conduct any placement drives. Faculty members don't provide any support for placements. This is the worst college whole Lucknow for MBA regarding placements. The college only focuses on the B.Tech course, and the MBA course is offered only for the namesake.

This college is not recommended unless you are preparing for GATE or CAT.

Placements: Students are not offered any placements unless they want to get placed in mass recruiting companies like TCS and Wipro. The only way to get a job is to prepare for any competitive exam like GATE or CAT. Even this has become difficult now as it is mandatory for students to maintain 75% attendance. Otherwise, we can't sit in the exams and class tests.

UPTU-life and career at risk.

Placements: The placements at UPTU are luck based. There's no placement infrastructure. Individual colleges are given placements responsibilities that they do not fulfil. I won't say that the process is biased, as the process, per se, is non-existent. Instances of students being asked to pay a "nominal" fee for placement have also surfaced.

Dissatisfied with the placements, good LAN.

Placements: No chance for core companies. If you are from CS or it then you may get a package of 3-5 Lacs. 7-8 students get more than 6 Lacs package. Most of the guys prepare for GATE or CAT. Companies like TCS AQ BEL HERO visited this year. Some companies recruited girls only.

Come at your own risk. Seniors are best. Overall, this college tests you on what you really are.

Placements: The placements are mediocre for CS and IT branches, and absolutely nothing for rest. 10 or 12 students got the chance to intern at TCS, but no stipend is offered. The highest package offered for current batch is 9.8 LPA by BEL. Not a good college as far as placements are concerned. Being in Lucknow, you may get some exposure.

Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Hexaview came and took only one candidate for its company. TCS also selected only single candidate for its firm. Smartprix made no selection in MCA. Wipro blacklisted MCA for placement. AQ also did not make any selections for its firm from MCA. Some seniors are placed with good salary package in TCS. Only, 5 percent placement was overall. The highest salary offered was 4.20 lakhs per annum, and the lowest was 3.8lakhs per annum. The students were offered to work as the developer in various firm...

Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), Lucknow engineering college.

Placements: This is the worst place I have ever been. I never wanted to be here. None of our senior batch students got placed. 0% students got placed. None of the companies visited the campus. No rules were offered to students. 0% student got internships from the college. This is the harsh reality of the college. The highest stipend offered is zero while the lowest that is offered is zero. I don't like the placement sessions of our college.

So called "the best college of UPTU/AKTU" is not what you think

Placements: The placement condition here is not very good. HODs or professors don't have any connection or links to any great companies. The average placement package is between 3-4 lacs per annum. Only a handful of students could get placement above 5 or 6 lacs. This is not only the condition in B.Tech but for all streams which are run by the college over here like MCA, M.Tech and MBA. TCS and Wipro are mass recruiters of our college Other companies which visit our college are BEL, Hero, Adobe and few oth...

This college is a government engineering college and you can take admission through the UPSEE exam only. The campus infrastructure and location is quite good but the buildings lack maintenance. The labs don't have the required equipment and in some labs if it is there it is outdated so it is useless. When it comes to the faculty, I would like to say that the teaching method is not effective and they are unable to generate any interest in any subject. However, some faculty are there who are the b...

The college is only good for name as it is a Government University. Students wake up only at the time of examinations, rest of the time they are in their rooms sitting and doing nothing. There is no growth of intelligence and students just know that there are two companies TCS and ADOBE that are going to come to their campus and so they really are not bothered about what is next.

It’s nice to be part of such a wonderful college. Encore is the annual fest of the institute which is held in the month of April. This fest is technical as well as cultural. The motto of the institute is Gyan Bharam Kriyam Binam which means that knowledge is a load without application. The students of this institute are not only rich in technical and academic skills but they also excel culturally. To celebrate all these skills of students, Encore is organized every year. Other colleges from thro...

It is the worst college in the world.

Placements: Placements in this college are a myth as only TCS visits here regularly. The T&P cell makes no efforts, and the placement scenario doesn't seem to change in the foreseeable future. In any department, out of 60 students, only 4 students get decent placements, while the rest of the students prepare for GATE exam and other competitive examinations. Adobe used to offer 10 LPA salary package, but from last year, it is stopped visiting here. BEL offers 9 LPA salary package and hires only one to two st...
