Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute of Environment and Research, also known as BVIEER is a constituent unit of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University. The institute was established in 1994 in Pune, Maharashtra. The institute runs various student exchange and international internship programmes in collaboration with several international universities. The college has a total of 20 faculty members for all the courses.
The college offers MSc and PhD programme under various fields such as Geoinformatics, Environment Science and Technology, Wildlife Conservation and more. All Indians as well as international students can apply for the admission process.

BVIEER admissions are conducted online through the official website of the institute. At the PG level, the institute offers MSc in three different specialisations whereas, PhD is offered in two different specialisations.

BVIEER MSc Admission 2021
MSc is a full-time two-year programme offered at the PG level. The programme is spread across four semesters, each year consisting of two semesters. MSc is offered in three different specialisations with a total seat intake of 70 students. Admission to MSc (Wildlife Conservation) is done on merit basis whereas, admission to other specialisations is based on a common entrance test conducted by BVDU, namely MEVST/ MGI. Candidates, who have completed graduation in the relevant stream, can apply for MSc programme. However, the final selection of students will be based on the scores obtained in the entrance and qualifying exam. BVIEER PhD Admission 2021
At the doctorate level, the institute offers a PhD programme in two different specialisations. PhD is offered with a minimum course duration of three years and a maximum of six. Admission to PhD programme is based on a PhD Entrance Exam conducted by BVDU. Candidates, who have completed master’s degree from a recognised university, can apply for the same. The final selection of students will be based on the entrance exam scores and the performance in thesis presentation and Personal Interview (PI). Eligibility criteria for the same is as follows:

Candidates seeking admission to MSc ad PhD programme need to apply online through the official website of the institute.
Application process for MSc programme:
Students applying for MSc programme need to pay an application fee of Rs 1,200 for MEVST/ MGI exam. Interested candidates need to register and fill an application form in order to apply for the admission process. Follow the below-mentioned steps for the complete application process:

- Upload an image of passport-size photograph and scanned signature
- Submit the application form along with he required documents

BVIEER Scholarships 2021
The institute offers a merit-based scholarship for MSc (Wildlife Conservation), namely Ashok Kumar Memorial Scholarship. Candidates, who have secured well in academic exams, are eligible for this scholarship. Eligible students need to apply online and fill an application form to apply for this scholarship. The application process for this scholarship opens between April and June every year.
Apart from this, the institute also offers Wildlife Protection and Conservation Scholarship for MSc Wildlife students. The selected candidate will get Rs 1 lakh in the first year as scholarship and another Rs 1 lakh in the second year, provided that he/ she successfully clear all exams of the first year.
