Really good faculty members, good infrastructure and facilities but no placements.
Placements: The college does not provide any placements for undergraduate students. Most of the students go for higher studies because it will help them to land high packaged salaries. Internship is not mandatory for undergraduate students but if they are interested to do any they need to find by themselves.
Infrastructure: The campus has Wi-Fi facility. The data limit is 35 MB but in some selected areas the data limit is 1 GB. The campus has chemistry, bio-chemistry, micro-biology, genetics and computer lab. Students can issue maximum two books from library for seven days and if they are unable to return it on time they need to pay fine of Rs.2 per day. The college provides hostel facility for both girls and boys. Each hostel has Wi-Fi. They serve breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner. Students need to enter the hostel before 7 pm.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are Ph.D. holders. Hence, they are very knowledgeable in their respective subjects but they prefer to teach in Bengali language. Syllabus is not that huge and very practical base. Each faculty members study materials are sufficient for the students and they do not need private tutors to understand the subjects. In the final year, students need to do two projects one is on biodiversity and another one is dissertation.

IGE will surely play a vital role to achieve your dreams.
Placements: You will not get direct placements after finishing B.Sc., but you should not expect to get a decent job in the life sciences industry right after your graduation. But after pursuing masters in relevant fields from our college campus, you can get a job through campus placements.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are equipped with projectors, and there are top-notch laboratories and equipment. There is a good collection of books in the library. The college has a computer lab with a high-speed internet connection. There is a xerox centre available on the campus to get the copies of the notes provided by the faculty members. The college has a canteen which offers a good variety of food at an affordable price. The college provides everything that a student needs.
Faculty: The best part of our college is highly experienced and qualified faculty who are extremely passionate and hardworking along with students. They use presentations and conduct lectures for the students to understand the topics easily. Professors try continuously for the students to succeed. The curriculum of MAKAUT (WBUT) is the best.
Other: Freshers' welcome event and the educational tours are packed with fun and adventures, which are two notable parameters during our studies.

Satisfied with my college as I get all the opportunities.
Placements: Generally placements are available after Masters. But many of the students got their placements after B.Sc. too. Presently students passed out from the college are working for Xcelris, Omics etc. While many others are working in foreign countries. The basic salary is 25000 to 30000.
Infrastructure: The college has separate buildings for M.Sc. and B.Sc. Jt has separate labs for Microbiology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Computer and Chemistry. Wi-Fi is available in the college. There is a library as well as an e-library too. Games and sports facilities are good. There are grounds for sports. There are rooms for gymming and doing co-curricular activities.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified. Teachers are very friendly with the students. Teachers help the students whenever they are in need. Teachers are more in number than the students compared in a ratio. Teachers are well qualified. Many of them are doctorates and many are pursuing Ph.D.
Other: Many functions are held every year. Most importantly the students are made the complete part of theses functions.

The college has good faculty and laboratories.
Placements: In these subjects, the placements are not easy at graduation level. We will get very good opportunities after higher studies in this stream at good places. There is a placement cell. The internships are given to the students. PhD level scholars get placement and good salaries. Overall, it is good.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility is available on the campus. Good canteen is available in the college. It has well-established and experienced faculty. A state of the art library and laboratories are best in these regions for these subjects and great for student-friendly assistance. The hostels for both boys and girls are good, but the quality is a bit low.
Faculty: The faculty is great and are experienced. The faculty members are generally student-friendly. All the subjects are explained pretty well. Special assistance is given to students who ask for it. The student to faculty ration is 6:1. The faculty is the best thing about the college.
Other: Extracurricular activities are performed. The sports events are held regularly. Fresher's and farewell party are celebrated. Very lucrative scholarships are available for talented and meritorious students.

Satisfied with the bunch of faculty, with outstanding labs and the beautiful college area.
Placements: The students are given placements to study abroad. Furthermore, they are employed as laboratory worker in the college too. Moreover, other companies appoint students from the college whose CV is submitted. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 22,000. Thalassemia patients are treated every alternate weekday, in the college.
Infrastructure: There is an availability of the Wi-Fi, on the college. There are different labs for the different department. A big library which provides all books, as well as an e-library, is also present. There is also a seminar hall, a building with only classrooms, a building with labs, a building for the M.Sc in the campus. Also, foods like the momo, parathas etc., are available in the canteen. Games are also held every year, which also includes badminton, cricket and annual sports.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and they are always there, when we need them. Teachers are well qualified as most of them are doctorates. There is also a smart class teaching facilities, but the student to faculty ratio is imbalanced. The number of students as per the number of faculty members is very low. Right now, there is no industrial exposure. The course curriculum is also very interesting and is very useful.

You should score 200 or above in JAMB to stand a better chance of gaining admission to study Biotechnology. You can still gain admission if you score between 180-190 upward but you do not stand a chance with those who had scored higher.
