My experience of Bharati Vidyapeeth IMED, Pune.
Placements: There are a lot of companies that come for the placement drive, and many of them are MNCs. Last year, the top recruiters were HUL, Wipro, CRISIL, Mahindra Finance, ICICI Bank, and ICICI Securities.
Infrastructure: The classrooms, labs, and digital learning facilities were great, and the library was well-stocked. The hostel facilities were very good, and cleanliness was a top priority. The mess food was really good, and the canteen was always clean. Plus, the college held sports and fests.
Faculty: The teachers were very helpful and qualified. The course curriculum was relevant and prepared students for the industry. They especially focused on the practical aspects of the course. They prepared students for real work life by providing them with quality work.

If you have good ability and confidence in yourself, you can opt for this campus.
Placements: Till December, 30 percent of students had got their placement. The highest is 8 Lacs in Mahindra. Top recruiting companies are Mahindra and Crisil. The roles offered are Sales Executive, Business Development, and Customer Relations Manager. The placements have just started from the 3rd semester.
Infrastructure: The college has many labs with fully AC and Wi-Fi available. The infrastructure is moderate, and you also get a ground and canteen in the college. You will get well-ventilated classrooms with smart classes and clean and hygienic washrooms. The library is too big, and parking space is also huge.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and very well-qualified. The syllabus was more theoretical. The semester exams are from easy to moderate level. Every teacher is Ph.D. and has good experience to share. They are always on time for lectures and give the best advice to students.
Other: I chose MBA in Marketing and Finance as my specialization. I wish the college should focus more on practical knowledge. Events were good; we had IMED Gems and Traditional Day.

How you should avoid imed for BCA
Placements: Around 90% student are placed who participate in the placement rounds in MBA and MCA. There is placement only for PG courses. No placement is there for ug courses i.e BCA and BBA. Average package of IMED is 7.5 lakh and highest package is of 18 LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostel is very poor. Infrastructure is not maintained well by the university. The infrastructure is very old. The hostel is not even painted for atleast 8 years. If you take admission in college then don't even think of taking addmision in hostel.
Faculty: The course structure is good enough and BVP is first university in India to implement NEP. The course is updated every 3 year. The backend is first thought than the front end. To develop logic building of the students, regular coding and co curricular activities are done.

Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) - Batch of 2025

Very immersive experience due to the teaching staff, infrastructure and services can be developed.
Placements: About 85% of the students were placed. The highest package was 10 LPA, and the lowest was 2 LPA. About 70% of the students got internships, with the top companies being Wipro, Amazon, Kirloslar, and Bosch. Most of the internships were in HR, sales, and marketing.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is a bit compact for the number of students, and the services are poor. The food is not of good quality. The classrooms and infrastructure are average, and the library is small.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified, kind, helpful, and always available. The curriculum is good, and the semester exams aren't very difficult. The teaching is really good, which makes the concepts easy to understand.
Other: I chose this course because it provided me with a lot of exposure to the real world of commerce and corporate life. However, I think there should have been more industrial and practical visits. The events and extracurricular activities were just okay.

Infrastructure: College has great infrastructure with good facilities. Very good library and computer labs for practicals. Seminar halls are available for meetings. Space for parking is provided. Clean drinking water facilities are available. Canteen offers great food. Proper smart boards are provided for a better learning experience.
Faculty: The faculty is very supportive and knowledgeable. They ensure that one can understand everything in the syllabus. Even if one is from a science background, they will make sure one understands the finance terms. Anuradha Mam is the best teacher for finance.

The academic foundation is strong.
Placements: Our college doesn't provide placement opportunities for graduate students. However, the college does conduct internship programs with companies like Reliance Industries Limited, ICICI Bank, ITC Limited, British Telecom, and Amazon.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure provided for our courses and department are good. The classrooms are spacious and have basic amenities like whiteboards and projectors. The labs have the tools and technology we need, and the library is well-stocked with a variety of books. The hostel and mess are average.
Faculty: The teachers are generally qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is moderately relevant, covering fundamental concepts. The semester exams are not too difficult, and the passing percentage is 33%.
Other: I chose to study BBA because I was interested in the subject and it offers a wide range of career opportunities. Unfortunately, there are no scholarships available for the BBA program at our college.
