As per the Medical NIRF report 2025 released by BHU, the median package received during IMS BHU MBBS placements 2023 was INR 18 LPA. Out of 93 graduating students, 14 students were placed and 79 students opted for higher studies.
During the PG 3-year (MD/MS) placements 2024, 110 students were placed and 32 students were selected for higher studies out of 142 graduating students. The median package received during IMS BHU placements 2024 for PG 3-year was INR 22 LPA.
Earlier, as per BHU Overall NIRF report 2024, the median package offered during UG 5-year and PG 3-year placements 2023 stood at INR 16 LPA and INR 13.5 LPA, respectively. Earlier, according to BHU NIRF report 2023, the median package offered during BHU UG 5-year and PG 3-year placements 2022 stood at INR 15 LPA and INR 13.50 LPA, respectively. Institute of Medical Sciences BHU accepts admission based on national entrance exams. The institute accepts national entrance exams such as NEET, CUET, and others. IMS BHU admission requires a minimum aggregate of 50% in Class 12 (PCB). Furthermore, they must qualify NEET UG for their category that is, OBC/ General/ EWS.
Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), BHU offers 100 seats for its BSc (Nursing) programme. The course seats are filled by the college based on the preset eligibility and selection criteria. The NEET 2025 result is expected to be released in the first week of June 2025, within a month of conducting the exam. NTA does not announce the NEET result date in advance. The NEET exam is considered mandatory for admission to IMS BHU for the MBBS course. The admission process is completely merit-based.
