Perfusion technology in IPGME&R and SSKMH - A beautiful journey .

Placements: All the students from our course were placed. 15k per month was the lowest package, and 30k per month with lodging and food was the highest. Students were recruited at reputed institutes like R.N. Tagore, CMRI, and Apollo Hospital, where cardiac surgery is performed. All students get to do an internship at the college and get approximately 10k per month as a stipend during the internship. Though you get a degree as a perfusionist, you can also be offered roles like critical care technologist and...

Absolutely dissatisfied because of no placement system like engineering colleges.

Placements: After 12th board from Science background, one have to appear in entrance exam conducted by state medical faculty of west Bengal. You have to secure good score or rank in the exam to get admission in government medical colleges. There are total 13 departments and Radiography is one of them. In my department, there are 35 seats for one year in our departments. Two years Diploma course with 6 month internship, total duration 2.5 years. Only 2000 per month stipend is provided during internship peri...

Absolutely right college for Medical. Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: No placement records are required for a medical background. Everything is dependent on your ability. As you are aware, it is one of the best hospitals in the world. IPGME&R is a professional career building platform.

Placements: The college, popularly known as IPGME&R, is a fully government-aided medical college. As MBBS is a professional course, every student is placed for a one-year compulsory internship. Being a professional course, every student is offered the same value professionally and economically. As it is a government medical college and hospital, there are no recruiters companies for the course. Almost 90% of students get placed on the basis of their academic performances and skills.

I'm satisfied with the college. We have a good location, campus and food.

Placements: There are 200 students per year. Becoming a doctor is a dream come true for many students, and after completing it, you must get a job in a government or private hospital. The initial starting salary is between Rs. 45,000 and 70,000 per month, and for your own private practice, it depends on your skill and popularity.

I am very much satisfied because of the faculty, facilities, and less expenditure.

Placements: In MBBS, as you know there is no placement. You can practice with your license after passing MBBS. Courses offered in our college are MBBS, B.Sc. nursing, post-graduation, and BMLT. Everyone should go through a rotating internship after the third year part. A good amount of salary is given during the internship.

IPGME&R has high facilities and is a great place to get medical education and treatment.

Placements: All students get a monthly salary of about Rs. 30,000 in the internship in the final year of MBBS course. Internships are compulsory for all students. After that, some students pursue higher studies for specialisation by attending the NEET PG exam while others can join as house staff of the hospital. There are plenty of jobs after passing MBBS.

The patient inflow is good here, and the campus is lush green.

Placements: After MBBS, we can do PG like MD or MS, Diploma DNB etc. We can also opt for non-clinical branches like teaching UG students. It takes a lot of courage to become a doctor, and it's worth it.

It is a very good institution for students.

Placements: Physiotherapy plays a very important role in our daily life. Studying BPT from a recognised institution like IPGME, Kolkata, is a good opportunity for students to have a better future. About 75% of the students take admission in our college. After doing internships, students get a good job in many well-known hospitals. They are very committed to treating patients with advanced medical equipment and their smart knowledge.

I recommend you to join this college to get the best experiences.

Placements: IPGMER is a medical college, so our placement does not depend upon any authority. We are self-employed. Every year 200 students get an entry in the MBBS course. Almost all students are sent to internships after completing the 4th year of MBBS course. In an internship, you are sent in a different ward as a junior doctor.

Best College for medical course in Kolkata, Supporting faculty with star grades.

Placements: In medical there is no such thing as placements. After completing your undergraduation MBBS you have to do your internship in the same college or enter as an extern in a different college. A hospital without an intern does not work and the infrastructure will collapse in a day. Therefore a lot of responsibility needs to be taken to act sincerely. Regarding stipend, the amount served is not sufficient according to the work you will do. Nevertheless once you complete your internship from this coll...

One of the Best Medical Colleges in Kolkata.

Placements: Although "placement" term does't have much relevance to the graduates of a medical college, I can surely say that I know many of my seniors who have passed MBBS from this college and have secured good ranks in MD/MS courses in NEET PG and AIIMS PG. All thanks to the college for building the foundation of the students.
