Placements: The college, popularly known as IPGME&R, is a fully government-aided medical college. As MBBS is a professional course, every student is placed for a one-year compulsory internship. Being a professional course, every student is offered the same value professionally and economically. As it is a government medical college and hospital, there are no recruiters companies for the course. Almost 90% of students get placed on the basis of their academic performances and skills.

The initial starting salary is between Rs. 45,000 and 70,000 per month, and for your own private practice, it depends on your skill and popularity.

At the end of the MBBS course, you can either apply for post-graduation by writing NEET PG or apply for house staff ship in our college. Job opportunities after completing MBBS are ample.
Placements: Physiotherapy plays a very important role in our daily life. Studying BPT from a recognised institution like IPGME, Kolkata, is a good opportunity for students to have a better future. About 75% of the students take admission in our college. After doing internships, students get a good job in many well-known hospitals. They are very committed to treating patients with advanced medical equipment and their smart knowledge.
Placements: IPGMER is a medical college, so our placement does not depend upon any authority. We are self-employed. Every year 200 students get an entry in the MBBS course. Almost all students are sent to internships after completing the 4th year of MBBS course. In an internship, you are sent in a different ward as a junior doctor.
Placements: In medical there is no such thing as placements. After completing your undergraduation MBBS you have to do your internship in the same college or enter as an extern in a different college. A hospital without an intern does not work and the infrastructure will collapse in a day. Therefore a lot of responsibility needs to be taken to act sincerely. Placements: Although "placement" term does't have much relevance to the graduates of a medical college, I can surely say that I know many of my seniors who have passed MBBS from this college and have secured good ranks in MD/MS courses in NEET PG and AIIMS PG.
