Secrets of Islampur college.
Placements: Islampur College has a placement rating of 6.9/10. 25% of students got placed.
Students got placed in top companies like Geekay, Havells, Bajaj, Khaitan, etc.
The top roles offered are assistant, HR, graphic designer, etc.
The average salary offered in my course is INR 26500 per month, and the highest salary offered is INR 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Islampur College has various facilities like a canteen, labs, libraries, sports facilities, etc. The food quality in the canteen was average, the sports were good, and the medical facility was not so good.
Games equipment is not provided by seniors.
Hostel facilities are below average.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable, but their teaching quality is very poor; they never complete their duty.
Almost 80% of students are not industry-ready.
Semester exams are not so tough, but teachers do not prepare students, which is why the pass percentage is only 8%.
Though last season's questions were tough.
Other: I chose this course because I am from a poor family and my family cannot afford my education fees and I also didn't know which course would have been best for me after my 12th.
Teachers should teach regularly.

I would not recommend this college to students.
Placements: Internships were offered in our college. Few students got placed, and the salary package was not decent.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was not attractive. Our campus was not maintained properly. Classrooms were also not good. Drinking water facility was average. Washrooms were not provided. The colour of the building got faded.
Faculty: Teachers were not responsive. Few teachers were the best to give their output to students. The course curriculum was not good. It was very easy to pass the semester exams as papers were not hard, and strict actions were not taken against students.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it. Co-curricular activities were average. Our college should improve activities with proper guidance. Festivals and important national days were celebrated with great joy and harmony. You will find new friends here. The campus life was not good

I recommend this college for getting a valuable graduation degree.
Placements: There were no placements offered at this college. It did not provide any engineering courses such as B.Tech or BCA. This college was good for art students. It offered courses like a bachelor of science and a bachelor of commerce.
Infrastructure: Facilities of this college were pretty good. They were supportive and helpful. Classrooms of this college were not well-maintained. It did not have a huge campus. This college did not offer any hostel facilities and mess facilities were also not offered in this college.
Faculty: Our teachers were highly qualified. They taught well. Our college offered three-year degree courses and three years of these courses are divided into six semesters. The difficulty level of exams was moderate. The pass percentage was 33%.
Other: I enrolled in this college to get a degree only.

Overall, it is a bad college in North Bengal.
Placements: The institute provides placement support to the students after the completion of their course, but they do not try to bring good companies. Two or three companies visited the college in 2015. 10% placement was recorded, last year. The students were offered the salary of Rs. 6000 per month.
Infrastructure: The institute provides many classrooms, library and labs. The institute does not provide Wi-Fi facilities to the students. Sports and medical facilities are available. Quality of food in the canteen is average. The hostel facility is available. I faced the problem of politics in the college during my tenure.
Faculty: The teachers in our college were good. They were regular to the college. Their teaching quality was good, but the students do not attend the classes daily. The faculty used verbal teaching method. The institute offers arts, commerce and science. Many students are studying arts with Bangla honour.
Other: The college campus is good. The scholarship is provided to the students.
