Recommend college for developing our skills and knowledge.

Placements: There were no placement opportunities for the mining branch regarding mining companies. If you are interested in other jobs other than mining, you have some scope. The percentage of the placements was very less, it is just 20-30%. The package won't increase more than 4 LPA.

There is no proper foundation for the civil department.

Placements: The placements are not much available, they are just a few. Companies like Amazon and few other BPO companies will come over with the less packages. The courses like civil and mechanical will not have good faculty and placement opportunities. The civil branch also doesn't have a good study and training for the placements.

One of my worst decisions in my life is choosing this college.

Placements: There were no placements for our senior batch. I know that sounds ridiculous, but it's true. This year, for my batch, Amazon is the only company came with the customer executive jobs. About 20 students were placed with an average package of 2 LPA. The highest was 3 LPA, and the lowest was 1.5 LPA. The college doesn't even provide internship for the students. No core company visited our campus like in years. They are trying to bring core jobs to the college, and they want us to pay for the jobs t...

Think twice before you join

Placements: I joined this college with the expectations of a good placement but the placements are just average. Infosys was the only company visiting the campus with an average package. Only 30% of the students were placed. Rest all the companies were startup companies and with job profiles of BPO. I am very much dissatisfied with the placements they provide.

I'm satisfied with the overall environment.

Placements: The placements for our batch or our senior batch were very less. The percentage of students placed was 50. The highest, lowest and average salary offered was 4.5 lpa, 1.2 lpa and 3.5 lpa respectively. Companies that visited the campus are Infosys, Ktree, Amazon, etc. The roles that were offered to the students were customer support, technical support, QA engineer, etc.

A complete educational society.

Placements: There were fewer placements and very little percentage of students were placed. Most of the companies which visited our campus were offering BPO profiles and that too in night shifts. Our college supports internships but the college does not provide any internships, so the student must go and find companies and the college allows student to complete internships.

Developing rapidly with an aim to reach high skies.

Placements: Placements are pretty average and the maximum package is 2.5-3.0 lakhs per annum. Most of the jobs were BPO(tele calling). Not many companies have visited but all are small companies. Only 10-15% of students are placed. Our college doesn't offer any internships.

I don't recommend this college for any student.

Placements: Placements are available but mostly for BPO recruitment. Very few technical placements are available. Only 40% of the students are placed and the salaries offered ranges from 2 LPA to 4 LPA. Amazon, HCL, Genpact, Capgemini, Accenture, Tech Mahindra and other small companies visited for recruitment.

Everything is good and well-organised.

Placements: My college placements are very good. We have administrative department and placement department which handle placements in our college. Students who all are good at academics, communication skill, and programming skills are being selected. Tye companies offer a salary between 2.8 lakhs per annum to 6.4 lakhs per annum based on the companies and students' capabilities.

Good infrastructure, facilities and placements.

Placements: So far the placements are good. Most of the students got placed in dream companies such as Tech Mahindra, HCL, Deloitte, Infotech with the highest package of about Rs. 6.9 lakh per annum. Rest all the companies offered packages ranging from Rs. 3.5-5 lakh per annum.

Best infrastructure and facilities but a little dissatisfied with placements.

Placements: Placements are moderate in our college and around 50% of the students get placed every year. The package differs from one student to another student based on skills and the academic performance. The highest package was about 5.7 lakhs per annum and the lowest package was around 2.3 lakhs per annum. Placements consist of both on and off-campus types.

Bad college of Hyderabad.

Placements: Placements in this college are very bad compared to other colleges. Hardly 3 companies had come for placements in the current year. No proper intimation has been provided regarding placements. Even the companies that have appeared are mostly for BPO and sales.

Totally dissatisfied about everything in the college.

Placements: Don't expect any placements from JB institute of engineering and technology. Getting a BPO job is also tough in JBIT. I don't think the placement cell is doing well enough to get the companies to college. For our batch, the placement cell definitely failed to bring companies to college. It used to do good in the past but definitely not nowadays.

Fully dissatisfied with the entire J.B. Group.

Placements: There isn't even one campus placement till now. They are providing only the pool drives which are also customer services jobs with lesser hike. And they are not even encouraging the students to participate in the drives. The TPO of our college has no link with the company HRs and moreover, training and placement cell is charging the students to participate in pool drives.

Not so good a college to join.

Placements: Placements in our college were very poor. Not so many big companies visited our college. Most of the companies were small companies and they have hired not for the role of an engineer but a technical support associate. The salary range was also very low, somewhere between 15 to 20 thousand per month and the intake was also lower than the previous batch students.

Absolutely dissatisfied in every aspect like placements, faculty, infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: There was only the Amazon drive in our college for our batch, and only 5% students were placed. Our seniors got placed in Wipro, Tech Mahindra etc and they had good placements. Companies visited our college last year, but our batch did not face any company interviews in our college except Amazon. This year, the college has poor placements, They are asking students to attend drives in other colleges. So I can say that JBIET lost its reputation when it comes to placements. ...

In short at you'll have an amazing experience with an encouraging faculty, placements, infra etc.

Placements: My batch had pretty decent placements for both technical i.e. related to specific field and non technical. Nearly 50% of my batch was placed with an average package of 2 lakh. Minimum package of 1.5 lakh and maximum package 3.5 lakh. Wipro, TCS, Google, Amazon were the main companies that were hiring. There were nearly 30% students who got an industrial internship with 1 lakh package.

Think wise when you want to choose.

Placements: In this academic year (2017) sadly there are less or no placements as compared with previous batches. This year for mechanical students they are giving placements for TASK registered students. I don't know then why they are taking fee for campus placements.

JBIT is one of the best colleges in Hydrebad.

Placements: The placements in electrical core field are nill, all the placements are related to software, i.e., CSE & IT, and all the branches can apply for IT jobs. From my batch, in EEE branch, only 2-3 people got placements on the campus, rest of the students tried for placements outside the campus. Even the number of companies which visited our campus reduced drastically. For our branch, the numbers of placements are not satisfactory.
