My Experience of the first-ever College Life.

Placements: I am doing BCA from JIMS. What I heard from the seniors and my faculty is most of the students get placed in good companies. I got to know about 100% placement last year for the students who appeared for the placements. About Placement, JIMS is one of the best colleges under IP for BCA.

Not satisfied with placements.

Placements: In my course, there was very less students who got placement from college placement cell. In placement many companies were not even related to the software development field, they wanted to recruit students for analyst roles or support or call center type roles. Top placement in my course was for Analyst position with 3,80,000 PA salary and the lowest for call center type job with 1,80,000 PA salary. Big companies were called for placements but companies wanted to hire 2 3 students only like Del...

Overall, JIMS Rohini is the best college to learn and grow.

Placements: Almost 100% of the students were placed in our course. All companies which visited the campus for recruitment were all top MNCs. Many students got their dream jobs, whereas other students got placed as interns in well-reputed companies. Students, staff members and the infrastructure were just awesome here.

The college is good in studies but lacks in co-curriculum and parallel studies.

Placements: The college have a decent placement. It has an average package of 2.75 LPA. Placements can be better but the placement department is really cooperative and good as they bring a decent number of companies in the form of opportunities for students.

Review of Jagan Institute of Management Studies.

Placements: Placements in college are pretty good. Placements are something which I believe is more dependent on students rather than the college. The one who is willing to be placed gets eventually. Companies like HCL, Capgemini, Godrej, Vivo Smartphones, Accenture, Jaro Education and some other companies visited the campus for placements. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is around 1.8 LPA. These companies offered placements for graduate level, BBA specifically...

The college provides knowledgeable faculty with good facilities.

Placements: Placements in college are fine, neither that good nor that bad. Companies are visiting the campus for placements. The average salary package offered is 2.5-3 LPA. Some companies like RBS, Vivo, Jaro Education, etc., visited the campus for placements. However, the college is improving its placement cell, and it is much better than the other colleges of IP University.

It is an average college.

Placements: The college doesn't provide good placement opportunities, especially in the IT field. Placements are mostly offered in non-IT fields like a job for a salesman or similar to that. There are no placement opportunities for mediocre students. Only students with high academic scores are selected in those placement dries. The college needs to improve its placements.
