There are a total of eleven participating colleges for NIMCET 2024, in which candidates will be allotted seats based on their scores or marks secured in the NIMCET 2024 exam. NIMCET is an entrance exam that enables candidates to apply for admission into the Master in Computer Applications course.

The NIMCET is a Common Entrance National Level Test that is conducted by any of the NITs for admission into their MCA programme. The MCA programme is offered by NITs at Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Patna, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli and Warangal and IIIT Bhopal. Admission into the MCA programme in the above-mentioned NITs will be based on the rank obtained in NIMCET only.

NIMCET 2024: Know about Counselling Process
Those candidates who qualify for the entrance exam will be eligible to take part in the NIMCET 2024 counselling process and seat allotment process. There will be various rounds, and the seat allotment result will be released after each round. Candidates need to report directly to the institutes on the specified date and time. The counselling will be done for those candidates who will be required to fill in their choices of NITs in an online mode.

The conducting authority have not yet announced the details regarding the NIMCET 2025 exam centres. As per the previous year, there are expected to be 31 examination centres for NIMCET 2025. In the information brochure, which will be released by the authority, the NIMCET exam centre list will also contains the examination centre code. Candidates will be abl eto check the exam centre list on this page and also by visiting the official website.
- Students who clear the qualifying criteria will be awarded a rank card.
- Candidates can check their rank card after the declaration of the NIMCET 2024 result.
- Candidates will be provided an email from the conducting authority of NIMCET 2024, which consists of a link. From this link, candidates will be able to download the NIMCET rank card in PDF format.
- Emails also consist of a new password and username for the Choice Filling website.
- Candidates are required to login and change their provided username and password as per their choices.
- Now, candidates need to fill in choices of the participating institutes in order of their preferences.
- Here, candidates can also change or modify the order of their choices various times before final locking.
- It is important to note that candidates will not be allowed to access the choice page after they are done with the locking of the colleges.
