Q: When was the NIMCET 2025 exam conducted?
Q: Is calculator allowed in NIMCET exam?
No, calculator or any other electronic equipment such as mobile phones, pagers, etc. will not be allowed to carry to the NIMCET exam centre. Candidates need to report at the examination hall in the allotted test center with admit card before one hour as NIMCET is an online examination, the candidates are required to follow the instructions given at the test center for entry and allotment of terminal.
Q: How can I choose the nearest NIMCET centre?
Candidates can select the exam centre of their preference while applying for the NIMCET exam. Three centres need to be selected in the order of preference. The authorities will allot the NIMCET exam centres after checking the preferences of the candidates and the seat availability. Most of the candidates will be allotted centres that are within their first preferences. Therefore, the candidates are advised to be very careful while submitting their preferences in the application form.

NIMCET 2025 Counselling
NIMCET 2025 counselling process will be held online for all qualified candidates. To participate in the NIMCET counselling 2025 process, the candidates will have to register, fill out their choices and pay the required fee. Choice-filling should be done according to order preferences. The NIMCET 2025 counselling fee will be INR 1000, and the candidates will have to pay online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card.
The authorities will announce the NIMCET 2025 seat allotment result online. Seat allocation will be done based on the candidate’s rank, preferences, category, and seat availability. All allotted candidates will have to confirm their admission before the final date, otherwise, their admission will be cancelled.
Q: Will the exam authorities arrange for travel and accommodation if the NIMCET centre is not located in my city or state?
No, the NIMCET exam conducting authorities will not arrange for travel and accommodation, and it has to be done by the candidate or his/her family. Before the examination, the authorities advise the candidates to visit the exam centre and assess it so that they do not face any problems during the examination day. All candidates and their accompanying guardians will have to prepare their own trave and accomodation.
Q: Will there be papers or sheets provided to do rough work or calculations for NIMCET?
Yes, papers will be provided to the NIMCET candidates for doing rough work or calculations. Candidates have to submit the same at the end of the exam to the invigilators. The authorities released the NIMCET exam pattern along with the brochure on the official website. With the help of the exam pattern, candidates will be able to check details on the pattern in which the NIMCET paper is structured and also the marking scheme. It is advised for the candidates to check the exam pattern and strategize accordingly for the preparation of the NIMCET exam.
Q: Is the NIMCET exam held on the same day for Engineering Diploma/BTech candidates?
Yes, the NIMCET exam is held in a single day and slot window for all the applicants, irrespective of the mode and the language of the exam. The NIMCET 2025 exam date has not been announced yet.
