JAGMAT 2025 Syllabus: Jagdish Sheth School of Management (JAGSoM) has released JAGMAT syllabus. Candidates aspiring for PGDM admission in JAGSoM need to appear for JAGMAT exam. Candidates have to answer questions from three different sections as per the JAGMAT exam syllabus. The JAGMAT 2025 syllabus outlines the topics and sub-topics for each section in the exam. These sections include English Language Proficiency (ELP), Quantitative Aptitude (QA) and Logical Reasoning (LR). Q:   How many sections are there in the JAGMAT question paper?

A: 

JAGMAT question paper consists of three sections, namely

- English Language Proficiency

- Quantitative Aptitude

- Logical Reasoning

Candidates will have to answer all the questions asked in the JAGMAT exam. JAGSoM will consider overall performance of the JAGMAT exam to evaluate a candidate during the selection process.

Q:   How many questions will be asked in the JAGMAT exam?

A: 

JAGMAT exam has a total of 75 questions. There are three sections in the JAGMAT exam. Each section has equal question weightage. Candidates will have to answer all questions in the JAGMAT exam. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers to any question. Therefore, candidates must avoid leaving any question unattempted even if they are not sure about the correct answer.

Q:   Is there a sectional time limit in the JAGMAT exam?

A: 

No. JAGMAT exam does not have any sectional time limit. Candidates can answer questions from any section as per their convenience within the 90 minute window. Therefore, candidates can answer questions in the JAGMAT exam from any section they wish. In addition, candidates will have the liberty to navigate across sections in the JAGMAT exam.

  • The Quantitative Aptitude section of JAGMAT exam measures the candidate’s numerical ability, mathematical skills and problem-solving skills.
  • English Language Proficiency, abbreviated as ELP, assesses the candidate’s ability to interpret patterns or relationships and the candidate’s knowledge of grammar, punctuation, etc.
  • Logical Reasoning, abbreviated as LR, of JAGMAT exam will assess the critical ability to come to a conclusion with a logic. This section might require the candidate to interpret data sets to land at a conclusion.

Q:   How many options will be given against each question in the JAGMAT exam?

A: 

For each question in the JAGMAT exam, there will be four options. Out of all the four answer options, candidates will have to choose the correct answer option. No negative marking is applicable for candidates choosing an incorrect response. Therefore, candidates must attempt all the questions even if they are not confident with any answer options in the JAGMAT exam.
